To anybody who's never been to a Kate Nash gig, go, and go before its too late. The best atmosphere of anywhere you'l ever go, everybody sings along, everybodys happy and having a great time, and best of all, Kates there. <3

The best version is a live version from the fabchannel in Paradiso, Amsterdam, it is available on youtube as well. Her singing has more edge to it than the studio version and this Paradiso-version makes it the best song of Kate Nash.

I personally like 'My Best Friend Is You' much better because Kate really puts herself out there and just seems to be totally honest about her feelings. Plus, she has greatly matured and understand the world a bit better, so she has more to write about and you can really tell if you listen to the lyrics in her songs. Her songs in this album have much more meaning behind them.

Seriousley, it makes no sense in music or context, i first head this song on t4 round my mates an we were both like 'eh?' an subsequently spent the next 10 minutes imitating her by randomly talking about irrelevant shit, there was no point, we talked about bicyicles and frogs and the colour of water and we live on a street with 4 cars in one driveway and i don't like rivers cos you can drown and i just ate a sandwich and can you hear it? See, Kate doesn't have those cut and dry sort of songs. Her songs are more complex in my opinion. Like to me this song started out as a love song, but she went into more things because..well..Kate isn't really a one mind set sort of person. Does that clear it up..?

there's a slightly different version to this on myspace. they are both beautiful, but i prefer the myspace one. on the bit near the end, she shouts the bit about shouting at Kings Cross and its brilliant. beautiful song.
