i sure wldn't want to miss this market nxt time we go back to korea mike! one of the things i like it there, lots of market places, shopping districts, you name it they have it...what can i say? :) thnx for sharing another grt vid! looks like an interesting place to get some herbal medicine!
Again another great video, that place is amazing. My one regret in all my travels is that I have never been to a single Asian country in or out of the military. I hope I can change that this year.
:big smile: The market looks so good. I like that it's friendly. Those women are so industrious. Reminds me of markets I've walked through. So, do the folks who sell the medicine know what herbs are good for? Or does one go with the prescription from one's doctor? Have a wonderful New Year. Thanks for the upload.
wow, the place looks like a child's heaven there! every corner seems to hold the promise of something new that you've never seen before.
Oh this is the first 1080 video if watched ever and the detail, even at full screen, is awesome! it seems like only yesterday that you were boasting of HD (720p)! the camera salesman must really like you. haha
@michaelarnold13 Thanks Michael...Maybe some folks here in Canada should do the same thing...we got a nasty flu bug going around right now. The temp here right now is -26c...very chilly.
i just came back from Korea yesterday. T.T i miss the marketplaces and street vendors. thanks for the video! it reminds me of the culture back there. I hope someday i can live there someday. :)
I hope that one day I am able to visit Korea! Is my dream! I hope that you still there to meet and visit some places! I travel with my mind by watching your videos!
be careful with herbal oriental medicine stuffs. i heard they're bad for your liver which will have harder time clearing out the toxins from the herbs
my grandparents were really into expensive herbal subscriptions & now they're really sick with a bad liver
what ive seen everything is natural, i cant see how it can cause any problems
Ive had a few Oriental medicine doctors (for acupuncture, masage therapy etc) and they have said they are not sure if Asian medicine has any affect on a non Asian
Anyhow, thank you, food for thought, everything in moderation
I love watching your vids I learn so much. I really wanna go to those places if one day I go visit south Korea eventhough, I'm not Korean or Asian at all :).
Markets like this are some of the most interesting places to visit in Korea. Your videos really are one of a kind. I love how you give people 'non-touristy' ideas on what to go see when they are in Korea :D
@michaelarnold13 I couldn't agree with you more. When I travel I always look for places far off the beaten path. It's ok to get in a little trouble now and then! Makes life a heck of a lot more interesting XD
3:21 I can't explain the taste. haha

Great video as always Michael...just one question...what is with some people wearing face masks??
motherofthedrummer 1 year ago
people wear masks if they are sick/have a cold so they dont give it to others
or
to keep them warm
