We are truly living in the last days, signs of the times like this is a good indication due to the type of world that we live in, the bottom line simply put "if you are not in Heaven, then you are not safe" for this world is the very opposite of Heaven, enough said.
The cop said he saw no reason for the heightened security at this facility. It isn't up to him just because he is a law enforcement. No one sees the need for it until something happens and by then it's too late. A 911 call does nothing when you need protection NOW. God gave me the duty to protect my family. The rules of conduct in my life doesn't change just because I leave the church. I would protect my family at home and they will not go defensless just because we are in the curch building.
Fear is because of Ignorance. Anyone who fears an armed citizen is either brainwashed or part of the enemy. Christians have a GOD given right to self defense and a duty to defend the innocent.
Irony--a Police chief saying, "the more guns you have in a confined area, the more likely you are to have a problem." By his own word the police station should be one of the most dangerous places in the town.
The concealed weapons laws in Michigan have restrictions. Even if you have a CCW, guns are still banned from public and private schools and daycares. The church was breaking the law and had to change its policy.
