Of cause. 3DS is backwards compatible with all DS games, and you can use the analog slider for DS games. They just don't play in 3D, only in 2D.

It's a long game with lots of unlockables, old familiar places with new ones, new characters, new bosses and basically just an awesome experience that does justice to the Okami name. I was actually surprised by the depth of the story in this game. If you've played the first Okami, I highly recommend you buy this one as well, they managed to fit both games into the same time frame very nicely, finding loopholes in the first story that they could expand on here. It's quite an experience... The ending was utterly heart-wrenching. All the characters are surprisingly lovable, and the adventures are quirkier than ever if you can believe that. xD

I just started playing the original Okami for the ps2 today and it's friggin awesome! But i dont know about the next Okami game being on the DS system. I remember when I played Zelda The Wind Waker on the Game Cube and it is amazing. When they put the sequel to the wind waker (Phantom Hourglass) on the ds, I didn't care for it at all. So i'm thinking, will I have a similar feeling of "blaaah" if they put the sequel to Okami on the ds? Gaming from 40" tv to a 4" DS screen just dont do it for me.

Personally I thought the graphics were okay, not as good as Okami, but what do you expect on the DS? My main problem was with the story. I liked some of the moments, but it was pretty feeble next to Okami's story. Okamiden was an okay game, but if there are any more games to follow, I would MUCH prefer that they were more like Okami than Okamiden.
