Oh God, the angels make me mad. Firstly, they used to say "IF WE DIDN'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN, IT WOULDN'T HAVE." And now they say "THERE'S NO STOPPING IT."
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy! They're simply more powerful than Dean and Sam and making it happen that way! And it's annoying the hell out of me. xD I think the angels are trying to convince them it's "destiny" to get what they want out of it. When actually, it's all bullshit. :D
He got away from it and it got him with famine, yeah - but omgosh. They way he fought it at the end and used his power. I mean. He beat past his demon blood and everything! I mean. It was like, two steps back, but three steps forward. He showed that even though famine got to him, he was able fight past it and be himself.
i think the reason dean is "dead inside" is cuz his whole reason for existing and all the pain and suffering he and his brother went through was just so that they could be vessels for an angelic sibling rivalry aka the apocalypse. i mean if u spent ur entire life hunting, went to hell, started the apocaypse, then found out u have to say yes to michael and the only reason his parents meet fell in love and died tragic deaths were just to give birth to him and sam, i think ud be broken 2
I have had an addiction so its really hard to keep yourself clean. Everyday is a struggle, and you can relapse so quickly, so I think that I really empathize with Sam.
I think Dean see's the angels for what they are "shady politians from planet Vulcan" and he really can't trust them at all. So why would you accept to be the meat suit of something you don't trust. I mean look at Uriel he definately had an ulterior motive. So I think it's a trust issue more than anything else. Also I think that

Oh i hope that Lucifer won't be in Sams body! But destiny says so...it also says Dean will say yes. Im so interested to see what will happen!
