  • Damn the beginning sounds sooo much like a Six Feet Under song!

  • If I ever heard this live, at 3:30 I'd fucking smash faggots

  • 2:57 and 3:33

this song would BLOW UP live... it is my dream to friken see threat signal!!!

  • @77Jesuscansaveyou777 they don't play this song live, but yeah, I'd crush skulls through that part

  • for people out there who listen to modern day mainstream metal with the fags that look like they would belong in justin biebers tour bus pit crew can go suck my dick, because asking alexndria, a day to remember, bring me the horizon isnt metal, ITS BUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL SSSSHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTT. This is real metal, this is real rock, this is real thrash, or whatever the hell you wanna call it. anyone who disagrees, please tell me so so i know who the fuck not to subscribe to.

  • @BlackShadow451 Who cares about what they look like, retard, listen to the lyrics, more then the music. <3 (No homo)

  • @BlackShadow451 i mean, i hate all of those bands music, and love these guys' music to death, but it's just other tastes... i mean, what the hell... THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT LLLOOOVVVEEE CRYPTOPSY!!! :p its like... why?? but its just different taste. not better or worse, just... different.

  • good sh*t!

  • GODDAMN I LOVE THE GUITAR. Wait what am I talking about? I LOVE IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why upload this in mono? i dont get it

  • darn side adds with sound.... -_-

  • @q13e5

Firefox + Adblock Plus = Ads just got owned

  • The thing I love about the drumming in TS' songs is, that Adam knows how to fucking use the doublebass properly. It's not just blasting away with straight 16th's all the time like in a shitload of newer metal songs, because he actually knows how to create cool rhythmical patterns that fits the music with it. 2 other examples of this are ac tually Chris Adler and Daniel Williams. You might say they're overrated? I'd say they're both over- and under-rated in different aspects of their playing.

  • @ALFREDsurfer08 whoops my bad, I mean't Norman. Adam weren't the drummer in this album.

  • guitar solo is pure eargasm and also double bass pedal is crazy... love this song!!!!

  • This album has a few good kicks in it but under reprisal still holds the trophy for me. Still , you gotta expect a new sound for a band which have now replaced 3 drummers,2 bassists,3 rhythms and 1 lead guitarist.

  • underground metal? i like

  • the start sound a little bit like cancer bats-lucifer's rocking chear

  • Personally liked Under Reprisal more, since ALL the songs were extremely good on that one, but on Vigilance there's a handful of extremely good songs, and a couple of decent ones. The extremely good ones being Afterlife, Beyond Recoqnition, Through my Eyes and The Beginning of the End :) Saw them live last year, but i wasn't really into them at the time, but the concert really got me into them! I just wish i would have known the songs better for the concert, as i do now :D

  • @Fuzkeren1 and severed

  • un-coordinated bass kicks, un-authorized guitar riffs, and kick ass screaming= THREAT SIGNAL!

  • Seriously, I almost lost my faith in metal.

    Thank god Threat Signal exists.

  • The scream! Love it.

  • One of the few songs I actually like on this album.

  • i personally liked Under Reprisal more than this album, but Vigilance was veryy good. i just wish Kyle McKnight was still in the band.

  • the picking pattern for the guitars and the sync with the drums in this song are just like, amazing, it makes it so powerful. its like every beat is a bullet to the head!

  • ive listened to these guys for quite a bit of time now and they just keep getting beter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the style in this song reminds me of god forbid...interesting

one of my favorate albums of all time, its like a perfect reprisentation of what true metal is in my eyes

  • the double-bass in this is just sick, i fucking love it! It's not just blasting away as alot of other shitty bands, the beats here are actually decent!

  • im a fan

  • im sorry but i have to disagree 'coreycripple'. ive listened to some amazing albums from all genres and im just amazed at the work from under reprisal. Its definitely an awesome piece of work and i do feel for the band because of the pressure made and having a total band refurb for the new album and im sorry but i think it shows in this album which is a shame, but decisions have to be made.

  • fuckin awesome song \\m//____((O.O))____\\m//

  • Nuclear Blast products a lot of great metal bands...

  • Love how 4/5 of this album was recorded in a practice room

  • One of the few good songs on Vigilance.

  • the solo at 3 minutes sounds alot like metallica's one solo before the drum sets in

  • Under is my favorite by them cause the CLEAN vocals were good. after awhile the raspy wanna be clean vocals get annoying

  • i've always thought the vocalist has a little bit of an in flames vibe to his voice especially on his singing

  • haha the opening riff sounds almost identical to a song called Hail Destroyer by Cancer Bats

  • the voice is definately unique, but i'd say the most "demonic" voice i've heard yet, is the lead singer of Dimmu Borgir (spelling?). Plus the first time i heard this song on the Metal for the Masses cd, i wanted to get up and start punching random shit! lol this is a great song no matter what anybody says!

  • combination of slayr and static x very lame

  • Viligance is amazing album, i have to say its better than Under Reprisal, Afterlife and this song is just better than any others. Inane is a good song from Under Reprisal though

  • a band this original is quite rare, especially how most metalcore isn't

  • the scream of threat signal is so unique i fucking love it. amazing band.

  • where can I get this band font style?

  • Both albums are fucking amazing

  • I hate to say it but I have to agree! Under Reprisal is EPIC! This album is a real huge dissapointment for me. This is like I dun even know...hard rock trying to be metal? I dunno, but it just prooves my point that Kyle WAS this band, he was the mastermind musical brains in the band. Beyond Recognition was the last song Kyle wrote(so Im told) and is the best song on this album.

  • i´m proud to own this album

  • Wow when I heard this song I was hearing 2 huge riff-offs 1st its Hail Destroyer by The Cancer Bats at @ 0:30 Then its Stop! Before I'tsToo late & we've Destroyed Everything by Atreyu @ 3:10-3:33

PATHETIC even though I really like this band.

  • @SHADOWKLOWN666 alright i can't say much bout Cancer Bats cuz i dont listen to em but this album by Threat Signal Came out September 8th & Atreyu's album came out Oct 26th so if anything Atreyu took that riff from Threat Signal just to let ya know bud

  • @SHADOWKLOWN666 No thats not true... you can clearly see that the notes in this song are different then the ones in Hail Destroyer-The Cancer Bats..... i mean its so obvious... -.-''... and btw .... This song ( and the album ) Was out in July... I think that Atreyu anounced their album after that.... september i think.... so how can you say that they copy Atreyu`s music ? Do you even know how much time does it take to write a song ?

  • Indeed, I know these guys personally, went to high school with them. And this song was written at least 4 years ago by their first guitarist Kyle Mcknight, they're still using his material even though hes not in the band anymore. Everything on this album and last was written by him except the vocals. So no they didnt copy anything from a shit band like atreyu.

  • Yea... Thanks for the info bud... but it was so obvious that they are original and they don`t copy... I personally don`t mind atreyu , i actually like some of their older stuff... but c`mon , they copy atreyu and cancer bats ? yea right....

  • Implying that atreyu and the cancer bats are actually good like threat signal. You do realize that a lot of bands use the same riffs and its on accident? They dont sit in the lab and say "hmm what band shall we rip off today?" Your whole comment is text form vommit at best. Please try again.

  • hail destroyer!!! this is far to bad a rip off to get away with.

  • Just listen and enjoy.

2:50 and on is a mind blowing experience of intensity.

  • what a song jesus christ

  • Pretty close to the best band ever..

  • Hell yeah :P

  • amazing. guitar part towards the end is mind blowing!

  • and I thought their first album was good. this is sick. 5 stars.

  • intro sounds like hail destroyer by cancer bats

  • I was thinking the same yesterday!

  • Wow the riff at 1:44 w/ the slide...dimebag would be proud. This band is fucking HEAVY - so punishing

  • are u guys seriously discussing if these guys are metal? welcome to the new age of metal... sry you guys cant handle the change of pace... and the fact that u can finally understand heavy metal singers ya farkin losers :)

  • How bout everyone gets off their rags, scrape the sand out of your vaginas, agree that it's METAL and fuck off the little sub categories and just enjoy it? Oh wait... this is youtube.. My bad

  • @Payton696 cant have a vid witout arguments can we? i agree tho, i wish people would keep there criticism

  • @Payton696

Hell yeah, this is metal as fuck, who cares about genres! Genres are for nerds man!

  • @Payton696 I agree with the sand scraping out the cervix uteri, cuz else its gonna cause vaginosis..

  • What would you classify CoB as then?

  • Scar Symmetry is progressive-death. don't even go there.

  • blah blah blah play how you want, listen to what you want, sick of all these fuckin categories,...yes i'll take nu-metal for 300 alex....fuckin gimme a break just fuckin jam...and goddamn .....enjoy

  • AMEN bro....

arguing about what category a band fits in is such a poser thing to do.

  • This is my favourite song of those guys.

And it´s Modern Metal, nothing else!!!

  • Just listen to Beyond Recognition, the riffs in the chorus are very much Melodic Death-esque.

  • if u want to listen to melodic death metal go listen to children of bodom, in flames, or dark tranquiliity

  • Children of Bodom is a horrible example of Melodic Death Metal. :\

  • ther new stuff, ya thats stuff is shit, but listen to there old albums and that melodic death metal

  • ...but .... really? In flames? This band draws very close similarities to in flames' sound.

  • to th new in flames sound, which isnt really categorized as melodic death metal anymore (at least to there old stuff) but yes there is a big similarity now that i think about it, and i can hear some melody in there, but all sons have melody in them, so that doesnt make this melodic death metal

  • Uhm... saying it's not heavy enough to be Melodeath? Have you ever listened to Soilwork? A lot of their newer stuff is anything but heavy. :\

  • sorry buddy, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one.

  • Whats heavy for you, as much screams as possible or good riffs and drumming?

  • what the fuck ever, this song rocks hard. just listen dont judge \m/

  • everyone got their opinions

  • it falls more into the metalcore category because of the riff styles, and the key, the breakdown... they aren't heavy enough to consider Melodic Death Metal, but their sound has so much of a metalcore feel to it, it's redundant to categorize it as anything but metalcore.

  • Being not heavy enough doesn't make them not melodic death...metalcore is influenced by melodic death + thrash + lots of hardcore punk. Although I admit this is a very metalcore sounding song...metal-archives still lists them as melodic death metal.

  • tecna64: do you know what time signatures are? 2 different styles of the same genre cannot typically use unique meters to that style. the only genre or style ive come across with this is flamenco music, and thats completely different. the time signature used is simply chosen by the composer themself. i would venture to call threat signal melodic deathmetal but names of styles is useless. every band brings something new to the table. take it from me i went to berklee college of music.

  • that looks like lots of the same slipknot sign stuck togther lol

  • perhaps you should google melodic death metal and metalcore and compare the differences, the time signatures are different for one and second of all, if you can read music you'll see huge differences in different songs, if you would make this sound like metalcore, it would be shitty, i mean metalcore is good for those that love it but im more into melodic death metal, if you want to hear a perfect example of melodic death metal listen to scar symmetry

  • google and wikepedia aint always right lol

  • Fuckin awesome band,new album is intense 10/10 :)

any u metal heads got a ps3 btw??

mail use some of ur IDs its good to have fellow metallers online :)

    keep it metal!

  • i got a ps3, psn is Draegast, i play mostly cod 4 and 5

  • threat signal is one of the few metalcore bands i like....i fucking love the singer's high pitched screams.

  • their not metalcore, their melodic death, big difference in styles, maybe not by music to the ear it aint but melo death is alot more technical

  • This is not Melodic Death Metal. It sounds more like Metalcore, but it is infact more industrial and mathematical than either. I would call it Industrial Thrash.

  • still, i've bin a musician for 10 years now, i play melodic death metal in my band myself so i should damn well know the difference between metalcore and melodic death metal

  • Yeah you should... so why do you consider this band melodeath? I read your other comment and would like to point out that time signatures have little to do with genre as the same time signature can pop up pretty anywhere. The main difference between melodic death and these guys (other than the style of riffing) is the feel. Come to think of it, the majority of TS is groove metal really.

  • im just gonna call it quits, everyone says these dudes play a different style of metal... whatever, bunch of retards

  • No need to get abusive now. To be fair, New Beginning incorporated a little melodic death metal. If that was your point, sorry for cheesing you off. However I think it a little unfair to say that we are all retards for seeing different elements of metal in TS's music... especially since everyone is some kind of mixture these days anyway...

  • true, but then theres kids like, you fucking yank, their this genre or their all gettin freaked out by you callin em melodic death metal, and then their all like your fat and shit like that, but thats just stereotypical, im a 29 year old man in the army rangers training, if they would see me they wouldent say im fat again

  • Haha... well, I am one 17 year old British student who would pay to someone properly freak out if someone called a band a certain genre.

  • Awesome band, cant stand without their album :P

  • Gotta say, fell in love with them to begin with because of their heaviness and bass and what not, the guitarist remains amazing, but I'm a little disappointed in the "heaviness".

  • wow this is different from the first album, but still amazing =D

  • shit

  • This is awesome. Anyone know where I can find lyrics for the new album? I need to check something before actually buying it.

  • sheer class coming for chimaira's crown prefer earlier stuff though vocals seem weaker somehow poss production issues and upload issues

  • i love this song!!

  • yea there fuckin awsome

  • Thanks! ;D

  • Love this song thanks for showing me it Ryan!!:)
