I should know as I lived through all this and I still wish many a times that things (parents attitudes at the time especially) could have been differernt. Sigh...If only one could turn the clock back...!
I too went to the Fox to see this movie in Atlanta. It makes you fall in love with being in love. By the way, it wouldn't make any difference if Mark was gay or not, but he's not. He is married with 3 daughters living in the London suburbs. Very sweet movie that leaves you feeling like there is happiness out there for everyone. Thanks to everyone in this movie and all who helped make it.

He was adorable. My grandparents too me to see this movie at the Fox Theater in Atlanta when it was released. I was 13 and thought he was so sweet and cute. Still think so.
A great film with the whole movie coming from young teens perspective. Much better than Home Alone with McCaulkin using a chain saw to make booby trap. Yeah, a 12 year old using a chain saw. Wait the minute, didn't George Washington's parents gave him an axe when he was six years old. Any parent does such a thing nowaday should be put away.
