  • A legend was born

  • That Jordan looks great!!

  • look at the small head on that cheat cunt

  • @lealowo look at those huge statistics he has proving hes the best!!!!!

  • @jfzclips look at the regulations, he proves to be the most successful cheat in F1 history

  • @lealowo he wasnt a cheat. theres a reasonable explanation for all of his incidents and no driver goes througha career without any. his are just made to look worse because hes the most succesful driver of all time.

  • Look at the rear wings, its like 3 DRS slots open. o_O

  • @nitrox150 The triple element wings were tried by a number of teams to the best of my knowledge throughout the early 90's. Of course, like every great innovation, the FIA subsequently banned them on safety grounds.

  • @esukem you can see this sponsor in 1996 to the Arrows car. = )

  • Eddie Jordan fucked up, should have kept him.

  • @AirCrashMayday Insider politics and big money meant he couldn't keep him, big teams rule over the smaller teams in F1 when it comes to the best drivers.

  • @AirCrashMayday I think he tried to. He sued Schumacher for breach of contract and lost if I remember rightly.

  • @Elhuron18 wow yeah!

  • in the past the basball caps were bigger than the drivers....

  • i hope he will pass 100 victories, i know he really wants that !

  • that cap is scary

  • Why are we not seeing Triple decker wings?

  • the sponser for jordan 7up if it was 8up i bet he would of got 8 drivers world titels

  • dude,

    i want his cap! :D

  • Is it just me or the front wings look like the mustache of the car? haha

  • back in the days when caps were super huge!

  • Ayrton Senna at 0:41 :D

  • hey, i'm schumi and i'll become a legend :D

  • there schumi was 22 years old, now he's 42... He just looks the same, he doesn't age :D

  • @johnduckable456 Lets just say he didn't look 22 back then. He looked older. Now that he's aging he seems younger than he is.

  • "7up"...

    what an omen!

  • Indeed was a great car that 7up jordan

  • Best looking F1 car!

  • Haha, his hat! :D

  • beautiful car

  • His smiling wrinkle was already there when he was young :]. He would have won the world championship straight away in his debut season if he joined the front running teams.

  • even then (schumacher) proving his talent a legend RIP senna at the end :(

  • even then proving his talent a legend RIP senna at the end :(

  • 7UP as a sponsor :p

  • This is awesome. I miss these days of F1 even though I was only 1 year of age.

  • Senna at the end :(

  • I can't wait to see him in Monza, 2011 !

  • OMFG=))) LOL the hat at the end :))

  • HE SENNA AT THE END

  • is there more of this interview anywhere????any help will be appreciated.

  • 0:41

That guy in the red outfit is full of win.

  • michael schumacher there, sporting a 'robert kubica - no sideburn' style haircut. lovely.

  • hahaha "7" UP (ironic)??

  • @BlaZeboyYy hahahaha

  • at spa francorchamps =)

  • the cap xD amazing

  • Start of F1 career.....

  • jeeez, that cap is way to big for his head .

    hahahahahaha

  • hahahahahaha its super huge its not his head that is too big its the hat that was made extremely n ridicoulsly ugly big

  • one of the prettiest F1 cars ever made!

  • WORD

  • How is it on a video about schumi's first race, we have an argurment about Senna and Hakkinen?

  • @piercem26 exactly...let's comment the fact that he cooked his clutch before the first corner

  • ive never seen Shumacher so young ! lol i was born in 1991 :)

  • Wow... that car rides really low.

  • That hat Michael is wearing...it's comical! Biggest hat I've evr seen, Lol!

  • as usually, some senna´s fans are getting mad here with all their blind support to senna.

hakkinen beated senna in his first race in mclaren, in qualifying and also in the race. and in the following race, hakkinen was only 0,1 sec behind senna in qualifying, when hakkinen had not yet a big experience...

senna was not so extremely fast as some blind fans would like him to be.

and schumacher is better than hakkinen , so... schumacher would have destroyed senna with the same car...

  • Yes, extreme Senna fanatics are annoying (ALL "blind" fans are!) , but I dont think Schumacher would trash Senna if they were in the same car!

I think the end result would be fairly equal over time!

Who would be best, and in which season, would be decided which car would suits them best that particular year!

They were both super talented and committed to an almost extreme degree, but had different driving styles!

Just the way they used the throttle was completely different!

  • Hakkinen outqualifies Senna (who is known as the fastest qualifying driver in F1 history) once and this makes him a better driver? Wow, please don't even talk about blind support.

  • Hunt 2727 If my memory is correct, Mika crashed out in his first race for Mclaren which was I think estoril in 93. Also if my memory serves me right, Mika was their test driver that yr. Senna was unmotivated in 93.

  • Actually Häkkinen was the first candidate to pair up Alain Prost at Williams 1993 but the current Lotus chief Peter Collins disrupted the deal so Mika could only get a test drivers' seat from McLaren. Hill had even less experience and still finished 3rd in the championship so what would have happened if Mika would have drive the Williams '93... Maybe we could have had the Mika-Michael rivarly earlier in the 90's...

  • I admire Prost as a great driver the same I admire Senna.

But I think in 1993 Prost returned slower than he used to be. Hakkinen could have beated Prost if Mika had driven a Williams in 93, I´m not 100% sure but maybe... Prost and Senna were Gods, but no more than Schumacher. After 1993, both Prost and Senna would have been beated easyer and easyer by Schumacher, and maybe even by Hakkinen the same Nigel Mansell was beated in 1994 and 1995.

Schumi and Hakkinen are Gods too!!

  • Unbelievable to hear how thick Shumi's accent was at this time in is life. Compare to later years...Much, much different!

  • Sounds like pretty much the same accent to me...

  • I agree!

  • that is a bigass hat! hahaha...

  • typical comment from a brit that last year was yelling for LH and watching his disgrace, moved to the next brit in line, whoever he is.

Being a Schumi fan doesnt imply you agree with everything he did, but one thing he did better than LH, he LIED better !

  • I'm a stupid Schumi fanboy - though that sounds a bit fruity - and I don't think Button will ever miraculously become what Schumacher was.

The comparison is between a man who had an almost superhuman mixture of car control, resilience, intelligence, political nous, will, force of personality and ability to take a dog of a car and develop it into something world beating; and Jenson Button, who, while a good driver, has none of these qualities I've mentioned to anywhere near the same degree.

  • you have lost your brain nothing more to say :)

  • He started with 22 ? omg how the time fly's quickly :(

I really really miss his driving :(

  • d if you made proper research you will find that Gerhard Berger was one of the very quickest drivers.Probably not many of you know that when they were team mates at Ferrari in 1989 Berger out-qualified Mansell 8-7!!! Berger was also closer in relation to Senna than Prost was.I bet you didn't know that either!also according to Barrichello Schumacher did not want Berger as his team mate because he was scared of him.

  • Indeed one of the best looking cars on the grid that year. Great, great upload. I have uploaded qualifying from Imola 94 if anyone's interested. Nice job :-)

  • Thay livery is just so cool! One of the best looking cars ever!

  • the cap Michael wears at the end of the video is HUGE!

  • Yeah! Mr. Willi Weber got a last minute sponsor for Michael. :-)

  • @Nexxus79 it's to shade his huge chin

  • @Nexxus79 Welcome to jordan gp.

  • I don't quite get the arguement going on here, but fwiw the Jordan 191 is one of my favourites, for the following reasons:

1/ The colours and design ... visual

2/ It moved Jordan up to fifth in the rankings after the first season - unprecedented for a newcomer team

Jordan hung on where many others - like Stewart and Arrows - couldn't survive. So yes, performance was shitty through much of the 1990's, but as an outfit I have nothing but admiration for them.

  • By the way, if the Jordan was such a great car, how many wins did it have? One?

  • I didnt say it was the best car I said it was an excellent car and rated as the 2nd best handling car of all. Even shitty deCesaris nearly won a race in it - so Schumi's 7th in quali isnt fantastic - good but nothing special.

  • yeah, not too good for his first qualie, race. And oh, by the way, his next year 92, he beat ALL the ex and soon to be champs. In one year. Of course, when Senna was in the Honda/McLaren, it wasn't the best car

  • When the teammate puts it on 11 on the grid, then 7 is pretty impressive for rookie driver!

  • I agree - it is a good achievement. But not sensational. (DeCesaris was over the hil and Schu had a lot of experience already in high power sports cars. If he'd come straight from low powered F3 cars it would be sensational.

None the less - yes it was a very good achievement.

  • Oh my God! I have to sai it:

He looks like Princess Diana! He's an ugly version of her, but he surely looks like her.

  • Diana was of german decent - so yeah makes sense.

  • LOL at his cap!

  • Um, the Jordan was 5th in constructors points. It was hardly the best and this was Schumi's first race. Give him some credit.

  • No - it was described as "the best handling car bar the Williams" by some journalists based on what they'd been told by non-Williams drivers who followed behind the Jordan and all the other cars. %th in the point swas just because it was their 1st season and they were still learning the game - but the car was awesome - i repeat that DeCesaris almost WON the race that Schui quali'd 7th in - and DeCesaris won SERO - 0 - races in 208 attempts. The Jordan was a front running car at times - eg Spa 91

  • so all the experts are wrong, but you are right huh? You want to talk about Senna and what a dirty driver he could be? What is your point? That Schumacher always had the best ride so he cruised to his victories? That he had no hand in developement? Ask Ross Braun. Wether you like him or not, you have to say that Schumacher is one of the best ever. So what's your beef? Cuz' he's German? Don't like Gerry's eh mate?

  • 1. I am of part German decent - I dont give a fig about race or nationalism - just fair play, and Schuki has privileges and advantages no other driver in history had. - the best car FAR more often than anyone else, and team-orders on top of that preventing even his team-mates challenging him - pissweak!

Re. development - go ask his own brother who said, just in 2007 "The truth is the drivers have very little to do with the cars development." Engineers DO! Its just a myth among ignorant noobs!

  • Ignorahnt Nooobs eh?

Do you know that Senna insisted that he got Prost's set up? Or is that a bit of history that you tend to overlook? And what team orders, other than the occasional win by Rubens? Who else? Johnny Herbert? nah. Eddie fucking Irvine ( who Michael helped set up his car-fact)? There have been countless interviews with Ross Braun, Jon Todt, etc. who have said they have never seen more of a hands on driver, who debriefs, gives technical feedback, with his teamn than Schumi.

  • That jordan was so good - his team-mate DeCesaris nearly won the race in it! In the next race DeCesaris was again in the top 6. And DeCesaris was SHIT!. So the Jordan was probably the best car in F1! (Other drivers who folowed it said it handled better than all other cars except the brilliant Williams)

  • you are a total retard

  • The word you mis-spelled there is "expert", not "retard".

    Cheers.

  • You're crazy, Schumi was better than DeCesaris the entire weekend, don't say crap.

  • Just another British idiot I suppose. I mean, you don't have to like Schumacher (I'm German myself and I can't stand him), but denying he was an absolutely outstanding driver will just prove one thing: that you dont have a clue concerning F1.

  • Senna Prost Fangio Clark were all clearly better. And probably Villeneuve Mansell Stewart Lauda were too. (Schui just did more races than any of them and FAR more often had the best car - so you should ignore his meaningless stats like all experts do.)

  • Dont have a clue about F1?

Um - I've driven one. What have you done? Hmm?

    Ok - run along now.

  • "I will be 7 time world champion.... just wait." :D

  • For sure the nicest f1 car ever...bar none!!

    Well done Gary anderson!!

First f1 car to be 1oo% CAD designed...Pity jordan could'nt hold on to Schuey...

  • Why is Senna sticking a fingur in Schumi's eye at the end?? ;)

  • he sticked a finger becouse he knows who will be the greatest "YOUUUUU"

  • I think that was one of the most beatiful F1 cars of all time!

  • I also think so! And the way Michael drove it in qualifying is amazing! He was near a second faster than De Cesaris, for whom it was his 160th GP start!!!

  • Wow, another senna bull-shit, when will those crash on a wall

  • you talk crap lol

  • Biggest hat in f1 today, and still, Raikkonen speaks

english for shit and so are Hakkinen, STILL.

  • Thats a big hat.

  • That green Jordan was the most beautiful f1 ever

  • Not the most beautiful, but one of the beautiful F1 cars.

  • I think the 2001 Jordan_Honda EJ11 is the most breataking F1 car ever, but the 1991 Jordan_Ford 191 is not far behind.

  • look at Senna in the very last frame :D

  • hahahha look at that red cap he wears! Not even Mario brothers would use a so riddiculous one.. even in the 80's! ahah nice video though

  • Haha, I remember those hats!!

  • Heh, kinda funny to hear Schumi talk before he got a lot better at English. Compare this to, say, one of the press conferences he does now. BIG difference!

  • Indeed. English wasn't even a neccesity for him then, he was driving for Sauber-Mercedes in sportscars and was based in Germany. That he learned English - or thought he needed to - shows great foresight on his part.

  • look at that hat he's wearing during the interview part... haha

  • Wow .. he so skinny .. he's 22 year old that time .. :D

    Cute video .. thanks .... :D

  • Who would have thought that he would go on to accomplish what he did?
