  • Nappy hair is unkept hair. I have white friends who have not been able to run a comb through their mess sometimes. If you don't keep your hair washed, combed, well kept it's gonna be nappy and I don't care what color you are or what texture of hair you have. You keep your hair well groomed even naturals (As I was for two years so I know) it won't get nappy.

  • @PariNicole Nappy hair does not mean unkept hair. Nappy hair means curly hair. White people cannot have nappy hair. When you don't comb your hair, you develop what are called "Dreadlocks" - don't defend this dummy

  • Fuck that Fag - He said what he meant! And his "little girl" is half white. We know what time it is with this Punk.

  • @MrBladeCrash Long hair can be restrained in many ways. Nice try. Now back to the topic at hand... it's entirely impossible to have a preference clean of outside influences.

  • @MrBladeCrash Women and men do so as a higher human power dictates... if I were in power and held a long impression, I could see that it's only right and natural that women do X and men do Z.

Also, Black women care about their in relation to rewards reaped by jumping through hoops. There is societal pressure--you do right by it, you get a treat. If you don't, you get shunned, ridiculed... it's not a healthy society we have.

  • @MrBladeCrash Also, long and short hair as "female" and "male" traits only exist within a society that enforces it (body policing, gender discrimination, etc...). There is no biological basis for that mess.

  • @MrBladeCrash Unless you were raised in a bubble under rock in a deep sea cave, it's kind of impossible to NOT ever be influenced by the views of others... so even if it's just a preference, it still came from some where from some one with an ax to grind against some one else.

  • Uh huh...

  • Everyone has a preference, but no one should imply that something inherent to an entire group of people is "bad". If a White person (i.e. Hitler) said it, it would be called racist. Thats the basis for eugenics. Its like saying round eyes are good (so slanted eyes are bad?). Anyway he seems pretty dumb... I hope he's learned to only speak when given a script.

And there are many men that that prefer natural kinky hair. I would know because I'm dating one. Stop adding to the negativity people.

  • @MrBladeCrash Im sorry, I should have told everyone that I was a MITCHUM man myself, and have broken my "programming" 2 only like women of a certain shape, color, hair texture or length...laugh with me, mane...

  • Lmao I'm glad he said it, the more black men speaking like this the more eyes it should open. I don't know how many times black men have to publicize their dislike for black women be it our features, hair, skin tone, or who we are for black women to stop giving them a pass for this kind of disrepsect and behavior. I understand most black prefer and want to be with black men no matter what even if it means constantly bringing us down. BUT STOP ACCEPTING DISRESPECT FROM THEM and then complain.

  • very cool love the interview!

  • @BrittLovesGlam Thanks Britt. xo

  • He's done in my book. The self hate is obvious, don't take the funk...>!

  • @gigagroove lol @ fake the funk..I say don't back peddle.. once the truth is out...you can't put it back in the closet...

  • The apology was wasted. Stand by what you said so we can all see your true colors. That way, people can deal accordingly. SMH

  • I'm sorry but this is why we Black Women should love men of ALL backgrounds and not "wait on the African Prince" (if that makes sense). When we pigeon-hole ourselves and a Black Man makes a boneheaded comment like Isaiah did, we tend to slip into that mode of hurt, anger, and betrayal. In other words: Flip him! There are other men out there who think you're beautiful just the way you are. (Oh and side note: ALL HAIR IS GOOD HAIR).

  • I love the guy...yet, the unfortunate part

about what he said is that as a black

    woman hearing "irresponsible" comments

    aren't unfamiliar.....as black women we

all know what he meant..its kinda like a

fucked up inside joke that we are ALWAYS the brunt

of.....i respect him speaking on it but

its just another beautiful black man that doesnt

    know he is : (

  • since he said good hair he just eliminated every black women on the planet

  • Hes just another brainwashed "brother" Why bother with this punk?

  • That´s his preference, the sad thing is he can´t own up to that in public bc of the negative feedback.

  • @ndoloweh

There is nothing wrong with him having a preference for straighter hair, or even non black women. The problem is the term "good" hair, as it implies that a black woman with naturally kinky hair has "bad" hair. How can it be bad if it's natural and taken care of?

  • I love my STRONG nappy, straight, peezy (if that is how you spell it) hair. Ms. Abiola. How do you feel about the term African American? I will tell you how I feel about it after your comment.

  • @MasterKhem I think people should use whatever term(s) works best for them. I consider myself African, Caribbean, black, African American etc -- others may choose to define themselves differently. But my great Gran was Ashanti from West Africa, my parents are from Guyana, South America, I was born here a chocolate black woman, so I claim all of me. :-) How about you?

  • @PlanetAbiola I agree to a point. I believe people should look into their history more and they will find out why I feel the term is derrogatory. Africa was not originally called Africa. The continent was named after the conqueror who took over it. Scipio Africanus. That's just my view on the term "African American". I totally disregard that term as my identity. I am Alkebullanan.

  • @PlanetAbiola Oh and I think Chocolate is beautiful complexion..... I WOULD marry darker then myself. I have heard that statement: "Don't marry anyone darker than yourself". I am learning my history and am in a lil bit of a shock with the way a lot of things have been misrepresented to me. I feel I should share some of that knowledge.....

  • My thoughts of Isaiah Mustafa he's only sorry for getting caught

  • No disrespect to his mother, but mother's love their sons. So the fact that she says she knows him and knows his intentions, no you don't. This is how he feels, and I have no problem with black men not wanting to date women with weaves, or only wanting to date women with "good hair", or even wanting to date outside their race entirely...but stop putting us down to make your point.

  • Black men worship straight hair and then they whine at Black women for processing their hair....

  • he meant exactly what he said, because if he didn't he wouldn't of said it in the first place. I find it funny that he made an apology and expect everyone to accept it to feel good about themselves. sorry but he's still not going to change his views.

  • I do not except his apology bcs i know its not sincere. He meant what he said..lol oh well. Im glad I woke up from the nonsense. Healthy hair is good hair.

  • If he's dating a white girl right now ,then he meant everything he said lol.. to be 4 real he has every right to date who he want it's call free will. Isaiah just has to be careful how you words things that's all. and YES I AM BLACK!

  • i dont know.. if i was on my way to white heaven , i wouldnt be making it a big deal with dumbass comments like that. just be happy with your white woman

  • Even though I don't agree with his comment, I don't think he should have taken it back because his feelings remain the same. I saw a picture of his daughter today and she doesn't have the sterotypical bi-racial/loose curl "good hair."

  • his biracial daughter will end up with a black guy just like jaime foxx daughter. these men go out there way to get with a white or latina woman and have these mixed kids then their own mixed daughters grow up and get with black men anyways and then they will end up with brown grandchildren...whats the point

  • good hair is healthy hair..you douche bag! Your name shouldnt be Isaiah Mustafa..it shouldbe Isaiah STUPID!

  • please, even if he apologizes. he still wants a non black girl with silky hair. and that is who he will mate with. you cannot get mad at him for saying that. most of the black girls have straight hair and weaves. truth is if abiola was light or mixed, she would have wayyy more subscribers. people want to look for like the dominant race which is white. its not right, but its true. sorry

  • @shyvixx1 ..good hair is healthy hair! His name shouldnt be Isaiah Mustafa..it should be Isaiah STUPID! He meant what he said and I dont except his apology...what he meant is that he want a non-black woman AND mixed kids..period. He is such a douche bag!

  • @shyvixx1 Thanks for watching, love. xoxo

  • @shyvixx1, Actually that's where you're wrong, I know a lot of African/African American women that are going natural and I'm happy to see that. Comments like Isaiah Mustafa and your bigoted comments only cause division. Fortunately more African/African descent women are proving you wrong and are dropping the relaxers, weaves, and are going natural in all complexions including beautiful women with dark complexions as well.

Don't you have a Klan rally to attend to?

  • @Hikaru2g shut t he fuck up! do you have anything better to do than to follow what I have to say on every video! get a life bitch!

  • @shyvixx1, Is cursing the and name calling all you can do real mature. (Sarcasm) I should be asking you that question, do you have anything better to do than being a bigot?

  • @Hikaru2g yeah you are a stalker!!!! do you have anything better to do then follow me around??? and im not a bigot. im a racist. get it right sweetie.

  • @Hikaru2g TELL IT!

  • Abiola brings BREAKING NEWS!! love it...

  • @Artsamust Thanks my love. xoxo

  • It's unfortunate you can't take back words. Young black girls and adult women alike have self esteem issues and to hear a man of their ilk make such a statement over something they have no control over, is very sad. He meant what he said.

  • @Haitian1130 Thanks for commenting. xoxo

  • btw what do you use to edit?

  • @anewmeePassion My fabulous editor is Kristal Mosley of iCreateTV and she uses Final Cut.

  • lol i love your intro. I just typed in this title into youtube after i heard about his statement on a blog smh

  • @anewmeePassion Thanks for commenting. xoxo

  • This guy sounds so white and he probably wants to be white. Can you say self-hatred? Slavery mentality? I personally refuse to straighten my NAPPY curly afro. I have cousins like him. They would say Isaiah is not light enough to have kids with.

  • @itsmecassiej What does "sound white" mean exactly?

  • @lexingtonann Good question...

  • @itsmecassiej ...well he is a douche bag so what do you expect....
