That was made from a wine bottle. I like the tone from both, although I prefer glass definitely when playing electric. Acoustic, glass or brass are good.

@SweetpotatoSlim NIce work, beautiful. I have a "rolling rock" beer bottle top that was cut and buffed into a slide, its pretty cool. It only fits on my pinky but it has a nice tone. I have about 15 slides. Have you ever used the jetslide? ITs very cool.

Thanks! The wine bottle slide has a lot more sustain than a brass slide and I like the difference in tone. The biggest problem I have with it is that it's a little rough at the cut end, so I had to put duct tape on it so it wouldn't scratch up my guitar.

if you go to a glass shop they'll have a glass grinder and in a minute it will be better

Hey wanteed to let you knowI love your playin but also I cut all my Bottleneck slide with my Dremel tool and the diamond disc that comes with it. Discs are avail at most hardware stores for about 4.00 and I get about 12-15 slids before I have to replace.
