  • Aloe vera is good for health benefit, but not east to filet.

  • According to Tamil (South India) medical practice (said to be over 10,000 years old), Aloe Vera has to be washed 7 times in water after the skin's removed.

  • Okra not Oprah! haha

  • heyy what can i add to an aloe vera smoothie that gives more vitamins?

  • wow u guys camp in luxury with a vitamix! btw, fresh is best. supposedly the healing nutrients dont have a long shelf life (maybe a few hours after being cut) unless its flash freeze dried. of course, man tries to package anything naturally good

  • I am from the caribbean and we have aloe plants all over the place, its weird what we in the tropics take for granted, however I would like to tell viewers that it is pertinent the you remove all of the green skin in order to get the aloe tasteless, The green skin excrete a green juice that is very!!! extremely!!! bitter...when removing the center be very careful of the green slime!! and the skin!!! Next time mix an aloe with an egg!! thats what my parents gave me to help boost my immune system

  • What are those highly mineralized items? Maka, Sparalina? What?

  • i heard this can give u diareaa

  • Good job man. The skin is really bitter, so i make sure and remove all of it.

  • Aloe vera is a miricle plant! Everyone should be planting one in there garden and have one in there house! Not just for there health but also for the health of the earth anything with that much healing power has benifit to the ecosystum around it!

  • Very cool! I just got an aloe plant today!

  • My Aloe Vera plant just had 4 offspring...or offshoots. I put some crystals in with it and POOF, it started to procreate.

  • @changingmyself Crystals?

  • I love to eat aloe

  • The aloe we have in our yard is kind of fat, not flat. Is there a difference in being able to use it?

  • I've found the easiest way to flush sinuses is with a rubber bulb purchased at a pharmacy. It's used to clean baby's noses by sucking mucus out. In this case I use it to squirt water up one nostril and blow it out the other. Be sure to to put salt in the water or it will really sting.

  • ROTFL - Slimmy like Okra.

  • Recently I've started putting Aloe Vera in the warm salty water that I use to flush chronic sinus congestion. The result has been amazing. It works as well as any of the commercial products I've used, without any side effects.

  • @funink hey how do you flush your sinuses? i always have trouble with mine, anytips on how to flush?

  • Thank you! You did great! I am cutting my first leaf today!

  • the green stuff can make you throw up or get have the runs. so if anyone gets those symptoms you know what its most likely.

  • to prevent these symptoms, just cut the ends and let it sit for a while, as the resin will seep out and sort of drain from the leaf.

  • i combine taking aloe + mangosteen core raw !..the result= im slimmer than before..my blood pressure dropped, very beneficial ,,try it guys

  • Great video. But on a side note, if you have cancer, you should limit how much fruit you use in a smoothie due to the natural sugar in fruit. Even though the sugar may be natural, it is still sugar. And sugar feed's tumor's.

  • great comment!!

  • Thanks a lot!!!

  • Research info:

''The concept that sugar feeds cancer is not useful. Sugar feeds every cell in our bodies. Our bodies need glucose, or simple sugar, for energy. Even if you cut every bit of sugar out of your diet, your body will make sugar from other sources, such as protein and fat. In fact, the best sources for healthy, complex carbohydrates such as vegetables, fruit, whole grains, and legumes (beans), are the very foods that appear to fight cancer best''

  • @JD24RULZ Hey JD2 you should also stop eating all grains, and corn, oats, rice which are also grains. They not only turn to sugar in the body but can carry mold or fungus. One kid 17 died of cancer and when they looked at his brain it was loaded with fungus. Mold, sugar, and fungus = cancer and other illnesses. Glad you said this.

  • @Joni48 Not true at all. Grains are metabolized as glucose in the body yes, but it is glucose to be used by your body. If you don't exercise at all, then yes avoid grains. But if you're trying to avoid cancer, you should certainly be exercising regularly. There was not a 17 year old kid with sugar in his brain. Glucose, when not used, is further metabolized into lipids that may contribute to the functioning of the brain, but it won't stay there. Other fruits and vegetables carry fungus as well..

  • @JD24RULZ rubbish comment! do your research on cancer. mucus feeds cancer, bread, grains, meat and diary products.

  • strong twang

  • he said slimey like okra!! not oprah! lmao

  • My Body Acidic . Do you Think Aloe Vera will Help

  • Eat more greens! Salad, kale, romaine, etc. Aloe is good for connective tissues and skin.

  • Yes why not it maintains ur Ph value.

  • Wow great tip thanks!

  • You're welcome!!

  • Thanks for this video. I used to have aloe vera plants because they were said to be good for skin, burns, etc. I never had to heart to cut my plants up, though, because it took so long for them to grow! I'll grow some more and be more adventurous. Where were all those aloes growing in the ground? I've never seen so many, looks like an 'aloe farm', and they look very healthy.

  • Thanks mystykit! Those pictures of aloe were in the south western States, and in Mexico. Remember you can get your grocer to stock a few too! Take care!

    ~Sam

  • LoL @ trashcarcass!

  • That was really educational. I've never seen the inside of an aloe vera leaf like that, and it was totally different than I expected. And thanks for the tip on the raw aloe being more neutral tasting. Very helpful!
