  • Hi JMPSynth, Very Good Demonstration!

    These sounds are still great.

    What Reverb was used?

  • It's a preset reverb (Hall I think) from a cheapo Behringer UB2222FX mixer.

  • Dope as *&%# i like it, check my channel too and tell me what you think (only if you want to :P)

  • I want this wonderful machine!!!! i've been looking everywhere for a emulatorII or a emax. no one wants to part with them on ebay & now i understand why. simply breathtaking!

  • There's two on Ebay UK currently. You need to look harder ! ;)

  • @dozer30 Currently an EMAX on ebay germany from ebay-user touched-by-sound with 1 year warranty. I got an Emulator II from the same ebay-user. Absolutly recommendable!

  • These pads could actually make me cry.

  • @mantra3000

    Really, i agree!

  • I hope i will found someone how can provide me the e II usb device. Than you can send me...;-))))))))))))

    Best regards to you John,

    Michael

  • Hi Michael, i forget.... are you not Mac/SD setup? I also create batches of these soundbanks on 5.25" floppy disk.

  • Superb sounds. These pads are full of emotion and are exactly the kind of thing to get creativity flowing in the studio. Give me 4 or 5 of these pads over endless presets on a modern digital workstation anyday!

  • Well thankyou. This batch has received some good feedback which makes the work worthwhile. :) I've sold a few batches of these on original 5.25" floppy disk lately for those lucky enough to have an EII or Obie DPX-1. Appreciate the comments.

  • F**K im dying here to get those banks.

  • Just get yourself an EII fetler... ;) Thanks for the comments.

  • the sounds in this video remind me of a lot of 1980's sci-fi.

  • It doesn't matter where the samples come from. When they pass through Emu circuits, especially Emulator II or Emax, they are transformed into something unique, like magic. DAC resolution, filters, whatever the reason ... it's magic sound! Emu's magic dust ...

Thanks for the upload. Good work.

    Sotiris.

  • I will send a link of this video to all the people who always ask to me:

Why do you like those old synths and samplers if there are a lot of great Keyboards today and Virtual synths???....

This E-mu sound (Emulators and Emax's) are unique!!

  • very nice tunes
