Beta channels suck!!!!! I would like if it if they would not make in manditory and they would stop making ads on the beta channels. It breaks up the side-scrollin bar on favorites, uploads, and playlists.

I use Firefox equipped with AdBlock Plus. It does and excellent job of blocking these ads,or any other for that matter.

Not for nothing, YouTube's entire business model thrives on ads. The reason there are so many ads is because no one clicked on them (probably) when there were fewer. That being said, the ads are quite annoying, but without them, YouTube wouldn't really be making any money, which would mean the site wouldn't be able to exist any longer.

My suggestion? Click on the ads 1000 times so that YouTube will not need so many ads.
