These people were arrested because they climbed over the barriers. It's not unreasonable for the police to arrest people for trespassing. You don't have carte blanch to violate whatever laws you want just because you're standing up for a good cause. These people were arrested because they climbed over the barriers. It's not unreasonable for the police to arrest people for trespassing. You don't have carte blanch to violate whatever laws you want just because you're standing up for a good cause. There is a right way and a wrong way to protest as a soldier. This was the wrong way, and they where rightfully arrested. Soldiers take an oath and they are dutybound to uphold it. You don't protest in uniform.

The war has used and increased terrorism. We are not safer, we are not more free, and since America is a country OF the people, we are less of country with every additional soldier killed. I'm a proud Iraq vet, and I oppose this war.

I saw about 25 of the IVAW. We had the same kind of "Veterans" in the early 70's called "VVAW". Their leader, kerry as we all know, brought out phoney veterans to slime the soldiers still fighting and the real veterans. THIS TIME the phoney IVAW are being challenged by REAL veterans. No more free hand to pull their usual liberal, lying, fake trash. Actually, real American debate and dissent PRIOR to sending troops into harms way. Ulike liberals and traitors like john kerry, etc. The American people sent the troops to war and are obligated to support them in their mission 110%. As an "ex-military" person I would think you'd know that. Of course you'd also have an MOS, right?

Yes sonny, I served, Army 11B40, Co E (recon), 1/11th, 1st Bde, 5th Inf Div (Mech) 69-70 Quang Tri Vietnam. Son just got out of the Navy after 5 years and joined the Air Force.

The agreement you make with the military is not "I am your pawn. Please do whatever the hell you feel like with me." The agreement is "I am agreeing to protect our country. I am placing my trust in you to make the right decisions about protecting it." That trust was betrayed when they were sent to fight in this war of lies.
