The red dot help A LOT with quick target aquisition, probly 1/2 their speed in ipsc bit its still outstanding. And that whole airsoft isn't good for training, bull. My Kjw m9 ptp is the correct weight to my M9 and its not about the strength of recoil its about muscle memory and sight picture. With airsoft you get to shoot a target with a projectile vs a snap cap. You have recoil, slide movement, and target reaction which is perfect for training.

the airsoft guns do have a training advantage when practicing stance, clearing techniques and mag loading but the actual feel of shooting is so different the the recoil spring on the slide much stronger and often times the weights are off, you have stay consistant

I love airsoft guns but, i am a real steal competitor and that is were i draw the line why buy an almost $400-500 airsoft pistol when you can buy a real gun for just alittle more, i mean its not like you actually play the game of airsoft with replica speed tac shooting pistols. The argument that they make good training guns for speed shooting sort of looses its weight when you bring into account that they are significantly less accurate u gotta use the same gun you compete with to train

Not really much of a quick draw, that is...compared to real steel firearms. Most ispc/uspsa shooters draw very very fast compared to him. Though I'm sure he probably shoots real firearms too though.

It's pattern shooting with an airsoft gun. There is an optic mounted to the top, the holster isn't even a holster, and his targets were less than 20 feet away... It's not that hard.

His time is unreal, have I seen better and with real guns? Yes, but he is damn quick and can outshoot me, and a lot of other people, at least in that type of shooting.
