@DivasManiaHD On this cruise it was great. but i went on another one the next winter and it was actually quite chilly. Watch my other video "Independence of the Seas - January 3, 2010" In the beginning you can see people playing basketball in sweatshirts and pants. So normally its nice but we had bad luck that year i guess because it was like 40 in florida when we got back.

yeah it was i was just on this cruise on the jan 24th...such a beautiful cruise love to go on it again....in augest in going on the NCL jewel...i cant wait for that....and hopefully oasis in nxt winter

excellent video, we were just on the Celebrity Solstice in September, we did a Mediterranean cruise that left from Rome. Best cruise I've ever been on. Food/service was great, we ate in the specialty restaurants.

I'm going on Celebrity Equinox (sister ship) in another 8 months for 11 days. :) I was on Celebrity Solstice 2 months ago. I definitely noticed an older crowd though. That's probably why embarkation was so fast, lol. Walking around the little old grannies and grandpas.

services were fantastic, food was great, never saw any of the shows cuz im 17 and they dont interest me. oh and if you play bingo on the ship. get the electric cards the game is rigged in my eyes!

I'm 21 so I'm usually not interessted in the shows either; I was more asking for the rest of my family... actually I'm not really interessted in Bingo either... lol I'm more interessted in the Martini Bar... luckily I'm 21 this yr, otherwise I would not have been allowed to drink alcohol on an american ship... I guess I cant ask u abt the cocktails if u're only 17 then...

we were supposed to fly into ft. lauderdale.. but from what you can see in the video.. we had a big snow storm (it doesn't look that bad i know but it was) so they canceled our original flight.. but we found a flight that flew into miami.. we just rented a car in miami and drove to ft. lauderdale.

and no we didn't eat at any of the specialty restaurants.. we looked at the menus.. and nothing really caught our eyes.. plus we had a butler to bring us what ever we wanted!

well, we are taking the cruise line's busing system. I heard from our travel agent today that the buses don't start until 11 am, kinda disappointing when we arrive in miami at 9 am.

the butler was awesome, he brought us breakfast every morning for us to eat on the balcony. and he would bring like snacks and stuff through out the day. but i personally loved all the little snacks. i guess you have to have acquired taste buds haha

I'll be on Equinox for this upcoming Xmas and New Years. Will be cool to see the differences between Solstice and Equinox. I'll be 17 when we go so I probably wont use the teen club much...hope to find some other kids my age onboard.

Wow, great video! I am going to be onboard Celebrity Solstice in 7 and a half weeks. :) This will be my 20th cruise. But, your video is so wonderful. It fills me with even more excitement! :) This will be my first time on Celebrity cruise lines. But, I have been on both Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruises a number of times.

Royal Caribbean is probably my favorite cruise line, but carnival i personally hate.

but yeah i dont know how old you are, but if your under 21, there isn't much to do like a royal caribbean ship, like im 17 and i got bored every once in a while : /. but dont let me damper your fun! but its a great ship! your gonna have alot of fun! make sure you tell me how you liked it when you get back!

My last Carnival cruise was in July 2005. I had a few bad experiences with Carnival too. In 06, 07, and 08 I went on Royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean is my favorite line too. How do you rate Celebrity? Above or below Royal Caribbean?

I'm 20 years old. I found something to do on all cruises. Celebrity is better value for your money than Royal Caribbean. I don't use the Royal Caribbean activities a whole lot maybe once.

id say above royal caribbean on how classy it is, below in activities and the same in food quality.

id rate celebrity probably 9/10 and royal caribbean 10/10

and no i didn't get any champagne, they didn't give it to everyone, only people who reached out for it, so i guess if i reached out, they probably would've given me some, but there was some in our cabin when we got there, so we all had a glass. it was terrible though lol

You are so lucky to have gone on this ship!!! I'm 14 and my favorite line is celebrity. It's really fun. I dont like royal caribbean at all. I'm young but I still love luxury! Everyone I have met on Celebrity cruises loves them. Hahaha. But yea once again, You don't know how lucky you are! Love the christmas lights haha

haha thanks. and i dont understand how a 14 year old couldn't like royal caribbean with the rock wall, ice skating, and the flowrider theres so much to do on a royal caribbean, with this ship, there wasn't that much to do for the younger crowd under 21

We found plenty of stuff to do, considering every was on the ship for 2 weeks haha. But i just love the luxury, it's just how i grew up. I think we enjoyed the cruise more than everyone else on the ship! We would stay out untill like 4 am and i dont even remember a moment we were bored. We ran through the penthouse deck (the ship was constellation and it was summer of 07....i was only 12 so it sucked) at like 2am and my friend fell on the penthouse's doorbell. haha

the room i had was the celebrity suite, i think the deluxe veranda isn't as big as mine, but bigger then the regular one? im not to sure check the celebrity solstice website for that. and the outside pool is sooo warm and FRESH WATER! i thought the food quality was excellent but my mom said it was just ok but the presentation of it was amazing,

and what is really bad on the ship is.. there are not alot of clocks, not many garbage cans, and if youve been on a cruise before, you know how fun bingo is, DONT PLAY IT, its rigged in my eyes its basically all electronic now, it sucks. anyways let me know if you have any other questions!
