If I go to a apple store & I buy a IPhone GSM version would they allow me to take it home & activated my self or what ??? Does Verizon have a SIM card so I can use it on a unlock iPhone since I don't want to use Tmobile & how would I make payments so I can have service on my unlock iPhone

ACTUALLY, I ended up doing it correctly this time ( jailbreak wise) but i went to system file and clicked the versions thing, but it asked me how my computer should show it. I pressed Notepad and it brought it up, But mine does not say what yours says. There is not beta or release type to erase. PLEASE HELP SOON. SURE ITS AN EASY CONFIGURATION.

@MsKatielabenski if its not the beta then you dont have to use the ifunbox program thats for the beta users! all you have to do is jailbreak in dfu mode then pull up redsnow again and click boot tethered make sure you in dfu mode when rebooting in tethered

I did this and it is jailbroken but when i click on Raw Files, I do not have a folder that says system. so I am stumped at the Beginning of this video. HELP. :l

everything worked, but it just offed while still connected automatically. after i just booted, lots of apps went missin (messages, phone, cydia, mail, and only a few stayed) HELP

When you have cydia on iOS 5 was it because of redsn0w or is that actually ON iOS 5? Like an untethered jailbreak?

@joshman458 download beta 7 or wait a week and download the the gold master beta and just follow steps in video like. before them you will need to hit restore and shift at the same time pick your file and let it do its thing
