It took _forever_ to get that stuff dried out. After three or four dryer cycles I finally spread it out in a thin layer near an air conditioning vent for a few days and then I took it outside and rubbed handfuls at a time between my hands during a light breeze.
Major pain the neck. I probably won't make basic pale malt again, but I will mkess with small quantities of specialty grains.

So, how did you separate the rootlets? Did the crystal brew well?
