Actually the first song is called "Mystic and Severe" in Death Rides A Horse (1967) and second song is "the Big Gundown (1966)" Main Theme which are all composed by Ennio Morricone. Both of these movies feature Lee Van Cleef, a western spaghetti legend. I got into Inglorious Basterds a year before, where I get introduced to these brilliant tracks, then on my way to loving spaghetti western movies. I owe it to Quentin Tarantino for that.
imagine...you and 5 other people pointing pistols at each other in a mexican standoff with this song playing ...all sweaty yet calm...with tumbleweed tumbling across....now at 4:12 you imagine the rest xD
I want to know the sick fuck who decided not to include this in the sound track cd for this movie. I was so disappointed when this song did not pop up.
My name is Lt. Aldo Raine. And I Need me 8 soldiers. 8 JEWISH AMERICAN soldiers. We're gonna be dropped into France dressed as civilians, and we're gonna be doin' one thang, and one thang only. Killin Nazis
@patruick94 The Big Gundown, as composed by Ennio Morricone, starts in 3:06. The song before it was added by Tarantino, that's a FACT, as i've all official Morricone's albums. Now, Artillicusll said what i just said, but you thought he wasn't being literal, but i'm here telling you he is, and he's right.
@patruick94 He's actually right. You faggots that didn't watch "The Big Gundown" movie do not know it because you are noobs, i don't know what's the song that sounds before 3:06, and well, maybe it's Morricone, but it's not "The Big Gundown".
I love that Tarantino appreciates all aspects of movie culture - he certainly makes great use of some of Morricone's works and seems to be culling more from another great master - Bernard Herrmann.
u no at the end of the scene were brad pitt and eli roth are marking the nazi dudes head and the chapter ends? wat is the theme wen the chapters are switching
@ApacheTheAldo He means literally. You faggots that didn't watch "The Big Gundown" movie do not know it because you are noobs. I don't know what's the song that sounds before 3:06, and well, maybe it's Morricone, but it's not "The Big Gundown".
@ElChanateRifa I didnt say he 3:06 is not the real the big gundown you bastard. I said that the part before 3:06 is better. And if you can call the people who did not watch that movie faggot or noobs, then you are a real fool.
@ApacheTheAldo Then you need to get some basic education going, he said the part starting from 3:06 was The Big Gundown, why in hell did you tell HIM which one you liked the most?, where's the sense on that?
@ElChanateRifa I dont need someone to ask me what to say or do. I just told my opinion and i said i didnt like the real big gundown starting from 3:06
Its not in the OST.
Why ? :(
