I like Zizek very much, but he gives so many talks that he has to repeat the same jokes time after time. Anyway, he has a kind of philosophical madness rarely found in these days. Just check the cognitive sciences gang -Searle, Dennett, Pinker... They are so businesslike and mundane that with them you never know whether you are dealing with a philosophical problem or with an investment plan. In twenty years, their books will be as dead as Marvin Minsky's are today.

haha he claims to be a leninist and says dumb things like that, philosophically he is very interesting, but politics is something he doesn't know what he is on about. He is very academically detatched from the workers movement.
