So let me get this straight...you like this movie better than the 2002 Spiderman movie?No offense but maybe you don't need to review movies dude,because this is one of the shittiest movies I have EVER seen.And I am a Spawn fan.

I'm all for a Spawn reboot. There is so much material available they could conceivably put together a 4 or 5 film series. The original fim was alright but all thiggs considered it didn't live up to the books.

Plus, with all the great advancements in special effects I think they could really do a great dark, meancing film. Only problem is that some of the characters in the series aren't owned by McFarlane.

@GamerDudeish The first TMNT film is an accurate representation of the Turtles, the 2nd and 3rd sucked (thansk to parents complaining about the violence) IMO and pandered to the kiddies waaay too much. The CGI film is much better but I think sorta missed the mark, at least compared to the original film.

this movie sucked so hard. just disappointing. in my opinion dark knight is the current best comic movie. not that it is perfectly based on the comic but it is really entertaining and thats what its all about. what results are produced if we have a movie perfeclty based on a comic which is not entertaining and sucks?

its funny but as the Spawn comics where coming McFarlane (Sarcasm voice) had this brilliant idea of changing Spawns murderer from Chapel to the same woman who killed Spawn in the movie.

Why would I watch a movie I know i'm going to hate? I mean I read the book beacuse I thought I'd like it. And I didn't. Long before it became "cool to hate on twilight".

I mean atleast with something like Transformers 2 there's a slim chance I'll enjoy it.

Actually I do have a problem with kingpin being black, because in the comics he is white and this isn't a racist thing. I mean Mcfarlene had his reason(s) for making him a white guy because he wanted to make sure the movie was aimed for everyone just not african american which might make it seem like he was doing so if the cast had not been altered from its original source.But I alway believe a story should be told as it is as much as it can anyway.

Ok as long as your fair. Alot of people are like "Your racsist if you don't like Kingpin being black" to which I always say "Then lets make a white Luke Cage movie".

I think sometimes it's exceptable tho. Like Kingpin was black because no white guy that big that auditioned could act.

I dont think I can really name any white guys as big as the kingpin is supposed to be unless you got someone like kingkong bundy or butterbean or someone from the world strongest man competition but i dont even know if any of those guys can act.

Come on !! This movie was awful, it does not do the comic book any justice, although that became pretty much crap after issue 44! Keith David (voice actor for spawn)is just brilliant in the animated series. This movie was abomination to all spawn fans! I mean the guy who wed's al simmons wife after his death is white,in the comic he is black??? At least tell the story the way it is. It would be like portraying Alfed in batman as a black guy. Not that there is a problem but is isnt the story.

thanks for doing the review Spawn is comic book movies, and i thought your review was really good. Also i thought Micheal Jai White did a great job as Al Simmons/Spawn. John Laguizamo takes the cakes the as The Clown in this movie.
