when you say economy limit you mean number of units? if so yah.. the unsc can upgrade from 30-40 and the covenent get 40-50

I think Master Chief will be in this one but he isn't special you'd just see him as another Spartan.

So when your deploying your Spartans, well...You could be sending out Master Chief himself.

And I think Master Chief is in his late 30's or early 40's.

So he'd be around 20.

I have just ONE concern with it. IT's WAY TOO EASY!!! I tried to play on Heroic the very first time, and I won easily. I have NO RTS Experience before Halo Wars, so i must be bad, buuut I just hope there's a Legendary Mode in the full game.

I can't believe people say this sucks cause its not an FPS. Just because its not your favorite genre doesn't mean it will be a great game. I plaid the demo and found it really good.  I find it nice there branching into new views of the game. If you want an fps, go play a shooter, if you want rts, go play an rts.

the reason being most people who play Halo have little experience when it comes to computer games. RTS usually fails on console systems since you don't get the same control you'd otherwise have with keyboard and mouse. On a side note, I still don't see what's so great about halo and I've been playing it since Halo 2 came out. Just not a "great" game when you compare it to some of the stuff Sierra and Epic have put out there.

They all got killed right before Halo 1. They were defending Reach and got killed. Except for Master Chief lol. Read the book Halo: Fall of Reach. It's a good book and explains everything.

UNSC does have a large army, it was 20 years before the halo events. Before the halo events the unsc had a large army, during the 20 year course, they lost alot of ppl from defending various planets from the covanents so by the time the halo events came, the unsc had nearly no one to fight off the covanent.

Actually there are you just can't play as them and just to correct you. The Flood don't come from the Halo Stations, the stations are weapons designed to kill the Flood but the flood spores can be in almost any secure Forerunner Station, the only reason humans usually have never seen them is because most forerunner arifact or planets are under control by the convenant
