What three chords are you playing. I got the C, I think you're using a variation of a D chord and a varation of a B chord.

he is playing in drop D so when you see him bar at the 3 its really a "E" chord and when he bars at the 5 its a "G". and yes its c,d(or D minor) back and forth then goes from D to G then D to E
