I think that the law is in need of revision and synchronisation across all of the U.S. and indeed eventually,globally.After all,the states should be united under one banner.

There's a species of monkey where the mother has sex with her son; many males aren't loyal to their mates and sleep around. Psychologists have known for years the importance of a man and woman to raising children. They each contribute in their own unique way. In the mid-70s there was a "vote" to reverse homosexuality as a mental disorder. That doesn't mean everybody agreed. Many psychologists and doctors in mainstream organizations don't think it is. It's a subjective answer with varying opinions. Studies can be interpreted by both sides in different ways.

Also, some gays and lesbians who felt pressured to enter a heterosexual marriage instead of being true to themselves already have biological kids before allowing themselves to be true to themselves. I agree that biologically two people of the same gender were not meant to have children.
