Taffy is a beautiful dog and clever enough to solve that problem. Dogs don't jump into deep water with the mouth open, but he found the way around and he showed, that he is not "daft".
@collieultimo. I thought you might like this little gem and I know you shouldn't laugh at animals., but I've never seen Taffy behave like this before and I nearly fell in the water laughing.
You are right of coarse, he is an intelligent dog, but why he didn't like the deeper water on this occasion when he normally dives in anyway, is a mystery. Maye its his age! He is 12 years of age, which for a big dog, is quite old.
It is a beautiful spot to walk with your Dog.
