The "documentary" is misleading. I am not skeptic about other Discovery documentaries. Things are misleading due to poor translation. Some parts seems staged. The 'Sadhu' at 16:40 is found in Basantapur area and you can take his picture for a small amount of money. He is a faker not a sadhu. This is purely misleading.

Meditation can make you completely leave your body in to the spiritual world. Tried a flotation tank? You become everything and it makes you feel like you are the universe. He probably has the skill down better than most, and use the frequency like becoming an acoustic levitation device.

I don't think that the magic is right translation for what this monk did. It is called "Riddi Bal", which can be closely translated as super natural power. It is not a trick but it is an achievement which comes naturally once your mind becomes extremely concentrated (gone through absorption Samadhi).

TOTALLY FAKE. At 37.50 minutes into the show, the presenter Dan White shows a magic trick of disappearing moon from the sky. The moon is obscured by his hand to the angle of the camera. But at this point, the monk who is standing next to camera, would see the moon and it should not be obscured from his vision.
Beside if he could really hide the moon to a monk then he should make a documentary about hiding the moon instead. Unless it is just a camera trick and the monk is also playing along.

Commercialized, dramatic and well edited...just like one of the American reality shows. Very interesting but doesn't add up. Although, I do believe that these powers do exist in the places sacred and untouched by the foreign matter (where time has stopped for generations). It is fully choreographed. Except for few street audiences time to time, shaman and the monk are part of the team. Many things about Nepal that have been said has no truth in it. Inaccurate and misleading.

You will watch a movie of total 3 hours or more and will enjoy even not thinking what the hell you watching and what will you get... and now you land up in this documentary and leaving negative comments. because its fake.. TOTALLY FAKE. At 37.50 minutes into the show, the presenter Dan White shows a magic trick of disappearing moon from the sky. The moon is obscured by his hand to the angle of the camera. But at this point, the monk who is standing next to camera, would see the moon and it should not be obscured from his vision.
Beside if he could really hide the moon to a monk then he should make a documentary about hiding the moon instead. Unless it is just a camera trick and the monk is also playing along.

Commercialized, dramatic and well edited...just like one of the American reality shows. Very interesting but doesn't add up. Although, I do believe that these powers do exist in the places sacred and untouched by the foreign matter (where time has stopped for generations). In my childhood, I've heard many things about monks possessing divine powers. One of them is Jamana Guvaju...his stories still exist among city dwellers of Kathmandu city.
