@mrmidnight32 I'm in CA too. The bullet button when it can only be worked with a tool is legal but when you alter it to let is work like a regular mag release it's illegal. Either way I'd never want to risk owning one in this state. I was at a range where the RM discouraged bringing ARs or AKs because he didn't want anyone being arrested at the range even if they were being arrested arbitrarily for having totally legal rifles. Until the law changes, I'm staying away from AKs and ARs.
@Totallydistortedfilm It is legal, I have one. Riflegear in Ca. sell them. Riflegear does not practice selling illegal ar parts to californians, dipshit.
@Totallydistortedfilm not only did you assume but you also were so certain cops would throw you in jail for having one. admit you're wrong and a dipshit so you can move on with life. lol.
Pulled this from their site. "made from 6061 aircraft aluminum with hard black anodizing"
I do not believe it has a steel option. But the bullet button is a solid part. It has nothing to do with the guns function and I dont see it breaking from it being aluminum instead of steel. Its a great button and does the job just as good as any other button available.
@FABAIN50CAL Google rifle gear and thats where I got mine. It wont let me post a link in comment for some reason. But I picked mine up personally from them the day I went to get my stripped lower. Great people great product.
@FABAIN50CAL They are located in Sothern California in the OC area. Check out their web site they have directions for their new location in fountain valley. I think they ship if your in another state or out of the OC area.
Ah man, you live in Cali? If I was you'd I'd buy a standard mag release and just stash it away. If the shiz ever hit the fan just throw that baby on and you're set.
@Highjak86 I still have it. It came with my LPK but I like the radlock a lot.. The bigger profile and the way it feels I got use to it.. Besides Its too much of a hassle to take it out change it up every trip we take out shooting. Just unscrew and go. Simple and easy and effective
There is nothing wrong with demonstrating the Stage 2 of the Racklock bullet button..
This was just a demonstration and is in the same state as if you were to be installing the BB. Once installed its in stage 2. I put it back to stage 1 and it stays in stage 1.
This is just spreading FUD. My rifle is currently and will always be in a CA legal state of function. It was only done for this demonstration video to show how the system works.
You have good intentions in demonstrating the Radlock, however I agree with tripleblackdc2, take the video down and find a way to demonstrate the Radlock without having to compromise yourself at 1:27.
Dude this is the greatest thing ever to get around CA laws. fuck yeah.

Thats gotta be illegal. Even if it isn't, the cops would still throw you in jail regardless.

@Totallydistortedfilm No its not. Learn your laws. Everything on this AR is fully CA compliant.

@ivebeenrocked Thanks, I love you too. What I assumed made it illegal was the ability to turn it into a regular mag release.
