@communistrecords I've also been told by a friend who has an old G4 Macbook, that the magnetic charger/port, can tend to collect random crap, which if your not careful could start a small fire, plus there is nothing special about a Mac, when i can build a hackintosh desktop, or hackintosh laptop/netbook with AMD parts in an afternoon for 1/2 the money, and people who say hackinsotsh has problems, does not know what there doing lol!

@communistrecords add this to the English wikipedia site /wiki/MagSafe it has a piece in it, talking about magsafe causing fires, and if all you need is a computer for internet, and school, I would suggest your next laptop being a cheaper AMD, or one with the new quad core VIA chipsets coming out, and either running Win7, or a nice Linux distro like LinuxMint or Ubuntu. that will give you many more options.
