Americans are getting so stupid. I have known about sex since I remember life, and I haven't been affected badly. Teach about sex and teach about the consequences that can be associated, but don't just say "DON'T DO IT!!!!".

We are animals, so we do have a strong sex drive. Anyone who denies this is an ignorant fool, and America is getting there.

I differ from both views. The problem is that the government is controlling what should be a family issue. You should talk about these things with your parents, but instead the government assumes the responsibility of the family. The schools have no right to tell us we should use condoms and they also have no right to tell us to abstain from sex. Sex education should not exist in the schools, but rather the home.

I hate how against sex america is. Teaching that sex is wrong when were flashing violent tv shows at teens. Sex makes you feel good and violence really just hurts you. They should be taught that if they want to have sex use birth control and condoms.

Sex education should be removed from our schools. The state has no right forcing their morality on our students when you can see that these are the same liberals who want to have God under attacked in our public schools. Kids should be learning Math, english, history and other subjects that will land them into a good college unlike learning about condoms

Here we go again,a teen gets knocked up & it's all down to not being taught sex ed! Give me a break, the problem with teens nowadays is that they can can blame everyone else for their mistakes. What teens don't know that having unprotected sex will get them pregnant and get std's? That's just rubbish. Do you people really honestly believe teens are that stupid?! Especially when most teens now have access to the internet!Crying about not knowing enough about sex is just the easy way out for them.

I really hope that the US improves Sex Ed. Teaching abstinence only is just terrible.

It won't happen. Too many parents disagree on what should be taught and are afraid they'll teach the kids the wrong thing. So they just teach nothing and hope that works. Every kid for himself these days. Good luck out there.

Religion and State are two different things, in my opinion all presidents should be Aithesits so none of this religions garbage would ever end up in public/private/charter schools.
