We know that Muhammad was delusional if not a liar if only because no worship-worthy deity would communicate with humanity through such a miscreant. I sincerely believe that Islam's very despicability provides safety from the contempt it earns. I.e., Islam is SO despicable as to be unbelievable. As such, many ignore it as if it will go away if only its detractors would desist in their opposition.

Is it even possible for people not to see that if they forbid disbelief they forbid belief, as well? Islam cannot be above nature. It must exist WITHIN nature. And to believe necessarily means to exercise choice. Those who are not free to disbelieve can believe no more than a chair can believe. Every participant in this demonstration is dooming himself to the hell he says he believes in. But each is, to be blunt, too stupid to see that. Islam is as much about rule by stupidity as anything else.
