  • ebola virus would destroy you

  • Dont forget that smallpox was also used by Europeans when they came to the Americas to drastically reduce the number of Native Americans.

  • I was going to watch one then i ended up watching this from 11am to 9pm

  • I hate it when I watch these videos, I gett all ichy after...

  • About HIV/AIDS, it's deadly for breaking immune system, but basicly itself doesn't kill anyone ;)

  • What about cancer? or what its called :P

  • What about Bieber Fever?

  • @SabresFour

    that's not funny at all..

  • @SabresFour True, I expect that leads to hundreds upon thousands of deaths, daily.

  • ... how did i get here from ponies ??? meh .. :D

  • Remember guys, this is not a "top 10" video, this is a list in random order.

  • im going to get a hazmat suit now...

  • isnt #4 the name of a food in austrailia?

  • @alltime10s there is a difference in a disease and virus fyi

  • I would put some of those in a different order.

    1. Ebola

    2. Bubonic Plague

    3. HIV/AIDS

    etc.

  • "More deaths are caused each year by tobacco use than by all deaths from human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), illegal drug use, alcohol use, motor vehicle injuries, suicides, and murders combined."

Tobacco use causes pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancers, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and increases the risk of catching and dying from pneumonia. Yet people are scared of things like AIDS/HIV, anthrax, SARS, and influenza while being so casual about smoking.

  • The flu is worse than Ebola?

    WTF

  • @ShadowCommander9 Because Ebola's incubation time is so short, people who contract it either die quickly or clear the virus quickly, so it's much more difficult to spread. Outbreaks would be very small and contained, limiting its ability to kill people. Influenza is much more communicable and is considered a pandemic...it's everywhere in the world. That said, on an individual basis, I'd rather be infected with influenza than ebola. But on the whole the flu kills more.

  • @DrunkenCellist

    Thx.

And I agree, although it happens way less than half the time, bleeding from practically every opening on my skin is not how I would want to go down. Definitely want Influenza over Ebola

  • Wheres the T-virus it can spread trough air, water etc

  • "Plague" isn't a disease, it's basically and old word for epidemic, or, in some cases, other disasters and pests etc..

  • @RtosVadumee "The Plague" was a specific disease

  • AIDS=MANMADE

  • @schwiiZZZ You don't know anything about zoonotic diseases.

  • i was wondering about leprosy

  • Sars killed no one compared to any other major disease.

  • What about the T-Virus?

  • @tommyloony No, the mutated genes cause excessive cell growth, which creates the 'tumour'. These thing's get taught to you at school, let alone the fact that you can just type it in to google and find the actual facts...

  • @lupe1productions A disease is a disorder or malfunction of the normal working order of the human body, including genetic defects which are the cause of cancer. Cancer is a disease. Just as things such as parkinsons or Down Syndrome are genetic disorders and are diseases. Well not too sure about parkinsons, could be getting mixed up, but check your facts next time

  • once you have a small pox you will never get a small pox

  • @MrWolframagnum you mean chicken pox.

  • @tommyloony yes that one and also measles... i had of those when i was a childs o yeah including mumps...

  • @MrWolframagnum but neither are deadly. Lol

    Small pox is totally different.

  • About 20 years ago, AIDS was only seen in monkeys... Propably a black nigga fucked the shit out of it and then everyone got deseased...

  • I bet AIDS is 1# diease!

  • Technically AIDS doesn't kill you it just shuts down your immune system so another virus can kill you.

  • what about Black death

  • @MrYour101 black death - the black plague - the bubonic plague - number 10

  • I DONT WANA CACH ENY OF THEM!

  • I think being republican should be #1..

Morality mortality rating would be over 100%

Not to mention being completely brainwashed.

Im just asking for an argument. But this is all fun and games until someone gets their feelings hurt.

  • I caught cholera when i was eleven when i went on holiday and i survived bitches.

  • @CaptainThomson Cholera is a hindrance in first world countries.

  • @CaptainThomson like a boss

  • @CaptainThomson Unless you're living in a third-world country that is no surprise, bitch.

  • @CaptainThomson you probably just ate the bad shrimp...

  • Comment removed

  • @CaptainThomson your a fucking living legend!

  • but doesnt SARS have a 85-90% survival rate

  • In my child development exam the question was: Feverish, pink rash that will not go away, and I was so stuck I put SARS :(

  • @xAyaLollikies Scarlet Fever.

  • i remember canadas panic over H1N1, looking at all of these are way over this

  • I personally believe that the Black Death and Ebola are the deadliest.Although the "Pestis" germ can be treated today, it was a death sentence in the 14th century. People died within days. Now, Ebola is the same...

  • @SolusChristus924 Pestis is still deadly today. Treated Pneumonic plague has a mortality rate of 50%. Treated bubonic and septicemic plague has a mortality rate of 4-15%.

  • @MrBigBEARHUNTER - didn't know all that. Thanks for the input. Jay

  • HEY WATA BOUT THE YELLOW fever?

  • @kan1994998 In the Intoxication stage for Yellow Fever without treatment results in a 50% mortality rate.

  • @kan1994998 its been nearly eradicated

  • i had infuenza and survived like a man BUT I ALMOST DIED ._.

  • Plague deserves a lower spot, Plague is very painful and almost always kills. Cancer should be #1

  • @ECHO7AIRSOFT Actually, the plague is a bacteria, which we are able to treat much more easily.

  • @CrystaltheWaterLily but back then we couldn't, which made it very painful and its a definite killer. Now today me may be able to manipulate it.

  • @ECHO7AIRSOFT Back then we couldn't, you're right. But the way you said it implied that we are unable to treat it today.

  • @CrystaltheWaterLily But plague is a brutal disease. Espically pneunomic plague.

  • @MrBigBEARHUNTER Yes, but it's much more treatable/preventable than other diseases on the list.

  • @CrystaltheWaterLily Ebola treatable? No way. Even with the best care, it doesn't make a difference. You have to take lots of fluids.

  • @CrystaltheWaterLily Antivirals to not work well againist Ebola.

  • Its really agravating how you called some of them 'diseases', they are Viruses.

  • @LegendarySayayin That is possibly the dumbest thing I have ever heard about diseases.

  • i had influenza 2 years ago i was sick for a while it sucked

  • For the people who says there isent a cure against rabis their is a cure against it that's why it isent on the list.

  • @mrshadowriser There's a cure for some of the ones that are on the list. It probably doesn't have as high of a mortality rate, however.

  • @KyleDoman1 Are you fucking stupid people can get rid of cancer for the most part you have airs your fucked start making your bucket list cause your dead cancer you have hope

  • if i could make a top 10 best youtube accounts video u would be number 1

  • Gov. population control

  • @1Deejay7 you = idiot

  • @MrBigBEARHUNTER 3 rd troller today. thx.

  • swine flu

  • @Reeceyboy101101

Because you probably go to a Catholic school, and according to Catholic religious teachers if you have sex or do heroin you're going to hell.

  • Life should be no.1. It has a 100% mortality rate.

  • @Conway79 life isn't a disease.

  • @TheTap323 No but the human race is a disease upon mother nature :)

  • aids/hiv doesn't kill anyone lol

  • @s10ka5 *facepalm*

  • @s10ka5 Not directly, no, but both of them weaken the body's immune system. Diseases that would be normally just a hindrance to normal people could be fatal to an AIDS or HIV sufferer.

  • @KyleDoman1 I think this video is more about contagious diseases. AIDS/HIV is highly contagious where cancer is not.

  • the reason cancer isn't number one is that it's a genetic mutation not an actual disease, so you can get a handful of hiv but you cant get a handful of cancer.

  • CANCER SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE. JEEZ WUT WERE U THINKING?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

  • 1:26 "We are all in this county completely susceptible to this virus"

Cool story, doc, but anthrax is caused by a bacteria.

  • @TubeUser333 Spore, you mean.

  • @MrBigBEARHUNTER Spore and bacteria are basically two sides of the same thing. Spores is a form the bacteria creates or turn into when conditions are though. The spore then takes the bacterial form when conditions are getting better.

  • @TubeUser333 Oh, I thought you meant that isn't a disease then.

  • @MrBigBEARHUNTER Spores are a part of the bacteria's ability. Still a bacteria.

  • i think these are about pathological diseases.

  • 1:00 i wouldnt be able to restist to scratch them all off

  • aids/hiv is made by humans, we are the most deadliest desease, not aids.

  • @Crashbandicoot701 No. It originated from monkeys.

  • @MrBigBEARHUNTER Yeah, but humans made it, they combine a medicine with monkey blood or some sort, and created AIDS/HIV.

  • @DannyBoyMRPG The sick truth is that africans had either eaten monkey or had intercourse with them.

  • @Crashbandicoot701 If there wasn't humans, there isn't AIDS/HIV :P

  • @kyledoman1 cancer isnt a disease

  • HIV/Aids is #1? thats a joke right? At least aids is controllable, i think cancer is much worse than aids, how many people do you know who have actually gotten aids and died, i myself have 2 family members who have dies from cancer and i know others.

  • @KyleDoman1 the thing is, cancer itself is not a disease..

  • @KyleDoman1 cancer isn't a disease... you can't "catch" it

  • @breakthroughassault disease - a condition of the living animal or plant body or of one of its parts that impairs normal functioning and is typically manifested by distinguishing signs and symptoms : sickness, malady.

HIV/Aids is a transferable disease known as an STD sexually transmitted disease. Just because you cant "catch" cancer doesnt mean its not a disease. It kills the human body and it shouldnt be there.

  • @KyleDoman1 HIV isn't an STD...

  • @KyleDoman1 Aids definitely isn't a joke. Just because it doesn't effect people in north America/Europe very much anymore thanks to advanced health care doesn't mean it isn't killing people. MANY people in Africa die of causes of aids. and cancer isn't really a disease

  • @diligence141 Cancer is more of a lethal mutation in the body.

  • @KyleDoman1 There are much worse diseases than both of them. I think HIV is one because there is no cure. It mutates very, very fast. Cancer can at least be eliminated.

  • @shallnoTfear Cancer can be eliminated because people are brought as close to death as possible to try to kill the cancer, there still is no cure for cancer. A lot of people that get cancer are not strong enough to live through it.

  • @KyleDoman1 I hope you realize that cancer is not a pandemic, nor can it be spread like any of the diseases here. It's horrible yes, but cancer is not this type of disease.

HIV/AIDS is a virus that mutates to consume the immune system, and has no cure, cancer is caused by your own cells trying to regrow and accidentally shutting off a system which promotes cell splitting, and causes them to continue.

  • @KyleDoman1 AIDS doesn't KILL people. AIDS opens the doorway for other diseases to sneak in and do the killing. The decision may also be due to the fact that HIV is a single virus, whereas there are dozens of different Cancer viruses. This video wasn't their opinion-it was a presentation of statistical evidence.

  • @KyleDoman1 Probly cause theres too many types of cancer and no one knows the real cause of cancer

  • @KyleDoman1 Aids is actually worse because it actually difficult to control and you suffer it every second, and the medication is apparently very strong. Cancer is cured more than AID's and can be eradicated but aids can't be.

  • @KyleDoman1 Not forgetting it exposes you immune system allowing for more diseases and viruses to enter your system.

  • @KyleDoman1 cancer is controllable too, genius.

  • @KyleDoman1 Because in the end, AIDS will probably be the reason that you die and have a premature death. You can get cancer multiple times throughout your life and still survive.

  • @KyleDoman1 +1

  • @KyleDoman1 Aids is controllable yes, but it costs alot of money, and that the african people dont have so Aids causes WAY MORE deaths than cancer.

  • @KyleDoman1 How many people do you know that has Aids? Not that deadly in us but in other countries it is. Americans are so self serving its pathetic

  • @KyleDoman1 You can't spread Cancer like Aids, Aids can spread like zombies if you know what I mean, blood, irresponsible needle control (hospital or tattooing), sexual intercourse <- major cause, especially when you don't research the person first, and if that one person is irresponsible and just keeps going then yea, absolute domino effect.

  • @KyleDoman1 So is the plague in the present day. They're also talking about transmittable diseases (bacteria, viruses, etc.). Cancer is not one of them.

  • @KyleDoman1 Cancer is not a disease

  • @KyleDoman1 Several cancers are highly treatable and a select few have vaccines, HIV/AIDS has no vaccine. HIV/AIDS can be controlled with retro-viral medications but these only slow the effect the virus has on the immune system. Inevitably an individual infected by HIV/AIDS will eventually die from an infection (usually pneumonia). Point: Cancer and HIV/AIDS are both deadly I don't think or believe one is worse than the other, anyone who thinks otherwise does so out of ignorance.

  • @KyleDoman1 These are all transmissible diseases cancer is not. Thing is most people generally associate the word disease with transmissible disease not what it actually is which is any ailment to an organism. Keep in mind the vernacular here they were meaning transmissible not the kind that aren't transmissible like cancer, genetic disorders, and mental illness. Otherwise I doubt very highly HIV would have been at the top of their list. Honestly Ebola scares me most you get it & you die.

  • @KyleDoman1 Us middle class citizins see it as controllable and with the money it is. But in Africa they dont have any money to buy medication to help them. A lot of women their are prostitutes and when they come home they give their husbands AIDs. It has literally killed millions of people over there.

  • @KyleDoman1 Cancer is not a disease, it is caused by mutated genes, which have no relation to external viruses, organisms, or bacteria. It is caused by mutagens or genes.

  • @lupe1productions All tho there are viruses that have relation to some types of cancer.

Actualy AIDS is a MUTATION caused by THE HIV VIRUS!

  • @6thsencefilms No.....its the same thing. The immune system is just destroyed.....

  • @lupe1productions... Just want to comment on your post. Some viruses can cause cancer... that has been established. Check out adenovirus and HPV for example.

  • @lupe1productions... also there are indications that some bacterial toxins can cause cancer...

  • @lupe1productions

    dis·ease/diˈzēz/

    Noun:

A disorder of structure or function in a human, animal, or plant, esp. one that produces specific signs or symptoms or that affects a specific location and is not simply a direct result of physical injury

It doesn't need to be caused by an external virus, organism, or bacteria to be a disease. Which is why cancer is a disease.

  • @lupe1productions you are at a computer right? one with internet? you know, that thing you can fact check with.

  • @lupe1productions Sorry to ruin your moment, but it's Mutated cells actually.

  • @lupe1productions cancer = genes that dont respond to the electro magnetic pulses ( signals) that the brains sends to them

  • @lupe1productions Read about bacterial carciongenesis, viral carcinogenesis. There are many ways a cancer can be caused. Just go ahead and tell it to those with HPV or Helicobacter pylori. I bet you wouldn't dare.

  • @lupe1productions cancer is a non-pathogenic disease. it is still a disease though. pathogenic diseases (what your talking about) are like viruses and bacteria. non-pathogenic ones are like cancer, heart disease, and obesity

  • @KyleDoman1 dude what the hell, aids is much worse than cancer(not to offend people with cancer). but people can survive cancer, people with aids will eventually die.

  • @TheTap323 There very effective drugs to treat AIDS. You can live for a long time with it. A lot of forms of cancer are hard to treat, especially lung and breast cancer.

  • chuck norris tears can cure all of those...too bad he does not cry

  • i thoght that number 1 was bieberofobia

  • Thumbs up if you were biting nails, until 0:09

  • Number one is this channel. I'm addicted to it!!!!!!!!!!!

  • anthrax is a bacteria and Malaria is a parasite so there technecaly not diseases as such.

  • @strader1234 Get a dictionary. diseases are anything wrong with the body. bacteria, viruses, parasites, cancers... they're all diseases.

  • @strader1234 Actually anthrax is a spore.

  • @opticalecho119 It is. But it can be in powder form (After spores)

  • @strader1234 Anthrax is a spore which causes disease. Malaria is a parasitic disease. If bacterial and parasitic diseases don't classify as disease, then viruses don't count either.

  • @strader1234 Anthrax is the disease, but Bacillus anthracis it the bacteria that couses it. Same for malaria (caused by several parasites of Plasmodium genus).

For anyone else that claims B.anthractis is a spore, not a bacteria, please understand what spores are. Basically, bacteria turn into/make a spore when conditions are harsh and then return to the "bacterial state" when conditions are better.

  • @TubeUser333 Falciparum Malaria is the worst.

  • I

    I

V that was the first one shown on the video in which they called the plague

  • wtf wat about the bubonic plague!! it wiped out most of europe in the 1500's

  • @MelancholyApples it was #10..

  • @MrStainful oh yea oops .....

  • @StolenDivine Just shows how much I don't care about him.

Obviously you care a lot, you horrible person :P

  • Malaria: One of the reasons i dont go out of england to foreign countries...

  • omg... please, commenters stop saying bieber fever, it's already the top comment -_-

  • Bieber fever?

  • what about puberty, the only person safe from that is justin bieber

  • what about

    Rage Virus

  • holy shit... i have had cholera I SHOULD BE DEAD

  • @sk8forlife782 Cholera isn't deadly in first world countries at all...

  • Imagine if AIDS was an airborne virus.

  • @TCO55 we be all dead!

  • @Jaejoongwife08 No. There is very effective drugs to treat HIV. And AIDS only happens when your immune system is annhilated because of HIV. So HIV and AIDS are the same virus.

  • How can anyone like this?

  • ..and what about the 'One Direction Infection' ?..

  • people who have aids or hiv still go out and spread the disease like fucking idiots
