i don't know about you but i find a big and fun challenge in the time trial... (atleast it's fun if you're good at it ;)

exactly. if youre goot at it. you said it. the big majority of poeple dont like the game becaues they couldnt figure out how to play it. they were used to being told exactly what to do, and to only have to press one button and the character does an awesome move. but in mirrors edge its not just pressing one button and the character does all the rest, no we had to do all the movements by ourselves and make precise combination of button pressing to make the move. that was genius.

He means that they weren't, designed as shortcuts. They were there part of the enviroment orginally then people were like "Hey I can jump on that planter box and jump the railing onto the stairs instead of going around and up the stairs."

And this game isn't stupid, it just requires more inteligence then you have to spare.

Seriously, he plays this game like old people fuck. As soon as he climbs up the stairs and goes into the Accounting Office he looses all momentum and from that point on, he doesn't event sprint anymore. Beside, you can see the video is edited when he gets to the "dead end", probably because he took way too long to find the way out. The sliding part looks more like he's hanging out, enjoying the view instead of escaping. He talks like he's so good and he sucks. The dude's full of himself. Sorry.
