@kyneticfx To be honest, I am not sure how they did that. I was there, in dwarven form.... perhaps there is an item that makes a player see others as gnomes. I am not too sure.

@kyneticfx He most likely used something likd Belbi's Eyesight Enhancing Romance Goggle. Its an in Brewfest item that's makes everything look like something/one look like certain race. Usually the race you see through the glasses is random, so guess he put em on multiple times until he got gnomes.

@RaydivatheWriter Sorry, you're mistaken. If you're an Alliance character, it turns others into male Gnomes. Always. If you're a Horde character, the equivalent Blix's Eyesight Enhancing Romance Goggles will turn everyone into female Orcs. There is no "random" race effect.

But yes, I'm guessing that's how he filmed this :)

Search wowhead for "Beer Goggles"

It's an item from brewfest. If you wear them as alliance it makes all characters appear to you as male gnomes. If you wear them as horde it makes them all look like female orcs.

@DaxicMaxic, it's also not uncommon for uninvited higher-level characters to show up and join in the games. If that's really Sambas, he might belong to one of these uninvited guests. The WHU hunters play by the rules but it's hard to keep non-WHU people from getting into the shots.

I must say, I've been looking forward to this for a long time, and I'm rather disappointed with the quality.

@williewobbler79 The event was a bit shorter than normal but I thought it went off well with the exception of the level 8 hunter's that couldn't understand why we couldn't keep them alive in Northrend. It's one thing to get low levels through level 40 areas to get to the Dark Portal but quite another to get past dozens of level 78s to get to Thrym and the Arena. The future events will only get harder since the new guild cap is 65 which most likely means we will be taking on Cataclysm content.
