in recent years it has become popular that dinosaurs may have had feathers, but i read an article in which it was told that scientists had managed to recover proteins out of fossilised dinosaur bones. they compared those to bird proteins and found out that they were almost completly different. so they concluded that dinosaurs are not related to birds, just had a bird-like skeleton....that may also mean that they didn't have feathers

Always was fascinated by dinosaurs as a kid and this brings back some fond memories for me! I'm probably years out of touch with the new species and all that but I do know of the Megaraptor. I think that t-rexes may have been hunting in packs :),their maximum run speed was aproxx. 15 miles per hour,so maybe they ambushed their prey,and were relying on numbers,like modern lions?

Yeah, well, most of the carnivorous dinosaurs must have hunted in packs like modern lions, especially the velociraptor, studying these animals must be really interesting.

spinosaurus was big, but it's bone structure was that of a weakling compared to T-rex or Giganotosaurus. I reckon Tyrannosaurus would have hunted somethintg like a hyaena, or possibly a komodo dragon - one or two crippling bites, and then let blood loss and infection do the killing work...just my theory.

There actually haven't been any studies on Spinosaurus's bite strength, so it may have had a stronger bite than usually thought.

Maybe it did have strong jaw muscles. But it's bones were a good deal structurally weaker than those of a Tyrannosaur, and it's teeth were straight and pointed like those of Baryonyx. I doubt that the spino was any kind of super-predator in league with T-Rex or Giganotosaurus.

Nice pics, but there isnt a real evidence that the dinosaurs had feathers, but as the birds from today are probaly their relatives, maybe the dinosaurs had feathers on their body. It sucks to know that the dinosaurs died, because they are cooler than the animals that we have today at zoos, i would love to see these reptiles live at tv or zoo nowdays...

YES!!! That would be awesome. Birds today are actually taxonomically dinosaurs. If you see an up-to-date full taxonomy of any bird, it will be under Dinosauria. But no bird could ever be as cool as the good ol' nonavian dinosaurs.

Oh, and they actually have found dinosaurs with the imprints of feathers.

About the T Rex, i heard that the first T Rexs were excellent killers, but at the end of cretacious the T Rex had the femur longer than his tibia so he wasnt a great runner and he probally could only kill slower dinosaurs or eat dead animals, so he probally had a really scary appearence to scare the other carnivorous dinosaurs that used to eat dead animals. Well, thats what i´ve heard, give me your opinion about that.
