Let's be honest here.. I'm not a singer. I don't sing as a result. Know why? Because I'm not good at it, I don't have any training in it, so I don't sing (at least, on stage). I COULD get good at singing if I put the time into it, but it doesn't come naturally to me so I don't pursue it. And if someone said I was a poor singer, I'd laugh it off because I'm aware of that and I'm not terribly self-conscious about it.

Alright, I'm at 6:16 and just paused the video. I came across this just by chance and now feel the need to sit here and type apparently. I'm a huge fan of stand-up comedy, and I tend to be quite critical of what I don't like, and often times of certain bits or mannerisms of comics that I adore. I stopped the video where I did because if I don't go any further, I think I can maybe just believe that this guy is in character. and doing a brilliant and hilarious mock-up of an arrogant entertainer.

......The type of guy that doesn't realize that he has not earned the right to be arrogant. While a more humble and likable person would not act arrogant even if they had "earned" the right, the character he's doing here is arrogant from the get-go. He's -that- good, and he knows it. Despite the mostly quiet and somewhat uncomfortable sounding laughs that he receives, he pushes on and lets us know that he is a comedian, he is on stage doing material he wrote and he's getting a response. .
