Believe it or not...

Today I wanted to browse furniture on ikea.de .. I mistyped theURL and was sent to idea.de, which turned out to be a christian news website, where I immediately spotted a thumbnail, labelled "Aggressive Atheist : Christopher Hitchens dead" ...

If that's not irony, then I don't know.

Fanatics are those who hide behind their beliefs without discussion, those who teach their children to become "christian, muslim, jewish" or anything else because they have to be like that. Fanatics are those who never sit in front of others who think differently. People who never use rational arguments because they don't need to: their beliefs are the truths. Nothing like this can be seen in Dawkins or Hitchens.

He reminds me of the chairman from the T.V varieties show The Good Old Days, Mr Leonard Sachs i believe, he was the man whom all where amazed at because of his unfathomable feats of vocabulary wizardry, still, you can fool some of the people, some of the time...

While a video or a Wikipedia account does not seem to persuade you that Mr. Hitchens is alive, please provide proof that he is dead.

Making a statement of fact is best enforced by using proof. I'm not hear to tell you whether he is dead or alive but I would definitely love to know how you came to the conclusion that Hitchens is dead.

Because this video is not a memorial for Chris Hitchens it is the 2011 American Atheist Asociation were Chris & Dawkins were the main guest speakers. Hitchens was given the Free Thinkers Award. An if you watch part 2 of the video you will see hitchens receiving the award. He left hospital espeacialy for it. He recently released a statement that he will try an make to Auustalia next year for an international atheist meet.
