dude, now you just need to use a flexible autostereoscopic 3d screen, and from ANY angle people wont be able to see you, and sense its flexible... well it will just be cooler~!
Precisely. If you pay attention to the video, the leaves seen through the 'cloaking device' aren't moving (or are moving slower/less than those in the bushes behind him). And JToobz has it right on the head, steps 1-3 w/ chroma key software (many free versions now)
u can see the lcd panel and what looks like some sort of batter pack to power it.. so u have the camera facing the bush.. and the lcd facing u.. u put about 6 inch or so between the 2 item.. and boom.. u have a cloak.. kinda like hooking a camcorder to a tv.. u see what the camcorder see.. since the camera is behind the lcd and u only see what the lcd shows.. which is what the camcorder see.. u see the bush.. hope that helps..
More like a blue screen panal and some video editing. Judgeing by how it looks when he moves the "LCD panal", Allso notice hes not holding a Inverter box or Power supply. But *shrug* i could just be missing something but i call bullshit based on what i see thus far.
Kid you're 15, you dont know anything on the subject matter. "real cloaking devices are permanent and dont require power" Kid what crack are you smoking. First off there is no "real cloaking devices" atleast not even close to what you see in movies or tv. Secondly all optical camo setup's require Current ether to power the projectors , OLED's, LCD's aswell as the Integrated circuit's. Please go take a course in basic electrical engineering and physics 101(start with Thermal dynamics). kthxbye
you are right, the greater the angle the less the camo effect, the LCD screen has a 24 inch rod extending out from behind it with the camara video pick-up attatched to it,
I have also tried using a recording looped and got a good camo effect, however as lighting changes the camo would not, iving away effect.
the guy puts his hand between a camera and the screen. nothing to do with mirrors BUT when you look at it from ANY other angle the image won't change which will definetly bust the trick. Basicly that's the only downside and problem in this kind of camouflage, so it can be used when looking anle is already known and the observer isn't too close or has no motivation to suspect any trick being used against him. Again closer look and more concentrated observing will bust it.
OR, it can just be a square of something blue and he filmed the scene before and then used the blue screen effect to place the image there. But, I'm gonna agree with wootwootdudeo as what it most likely is (since its basically what was stated in the video's info). If that is it, very good job. The lag between the lcd monitor and camera can't be helped, and it looks convincing.
okay.. you people. it was done with mirrors.. think about a fish tank.. fish can't see out of them but we can see in them.. it's just like that.. wait.. what am i even talking about??
accualy thats extremly easy to do 2 way mirrors you can see through it but not on the outher side its the same thing poice use when they have the line ups
its not mirrors... it was probably done with a sheet of blue on the "device" then in editing the blue was taken out, made transparent, and what you're seeing is the background of the same shot from another clip where nothing is there
this thing is real. it has a screen on one side and camras on the other side with some space between and thats where he put his hand. (lol i figured that out in half a minute..)
i think its editing...there is no way a regular civilian would have a piece of technology like that and if he did he woulds sold it for tons of money or goe farther in the research of it...its gotta be editing...
no... it is a cloaking device. it's cloaks the hand. the cloaking device itself has a frame, which you can see. and it's a prototype, just a small piece, therefore you can see the small frame... the frame isn't the device
well yeah thats tru , there is different types of cloaking devices , in this video it kinda ju slooks like a mirror reflecting off the trees on the other side but im not to sure

Step 1: Film the tree.
Step 2: Film yourself in front of the tree holding a colored object.
Step 3: "Key" that color out of the second video and lay the first video under it.
Extreeeeeemely easy. But, clever to have blue clothes and a green tree to throw off viewers who'd suspect blue or green screening.

First, fix your spelling.
Secondly, real cloaskign devices are permanent, and do not require power supplies.
Meaning YOU, sir, are full of shit.
Don't try to talk about things you don't understand if you can't even spell them right.

Its a video camera that records an image of whatever is behind the hand and LCD screen onto the LCD screen.
It has absolutely nothing to do with mirrors
