Rather than feeding the beast by poking fun at some made-up strawmen, understand that subjugation of justice is an issue for all Americans. I was, perhaps, too young and idealistic a liberal to have noticed the things you mention during Clinton's presidency. Now that we've both seen both sides of it, can we agree that anytime it happens, it hurts our democracy?

Kindergarten teacher don;t even let kids get away with playing identity politics "Well, IIIIIII'm ...", yet somehow were are captivated when adults do it. Its a total reverse of logic - were preoccupied with identity politics purporting to represents different fine-tuning policy objectives. We're arguing about the drapes when the foundation is sinking.

Rove is an expert at fostering loyal relationships and covering his tracks, I would be surprised if this can be traced back to him. All I know is that the next administration, whoever that may be, must clean house at the Justice Department. All U.S. Attorney's and DOJ lawyers appointed by Bush should be out of a job in Feb. 2009.
