I'll NEVER understand how this band was not more famous. I discovered them working with ProgPowerUSA in 2009. The commercial interest thing has just got to go.Its killing music for the public to enjoy and forcing brittneys, beibers and gagas on us. I started a TOTALLY MUSIC/ARTIST CHANNEL because of this.The bands are my biggest fans and almost ALL the friends are bands. I'm just tired of great bands/artists not getting credit & exposure.You guys check me out and enjoy.You'll find many unknowns.

It's because they switched singers too often. It is one thing to replace a guitarist or bassist or even a drummer, but when you change the singer, you change the entire band. DC Cooper is what made this band successful in the beginning. The fans of Royal Hunt then just followed DC when he left. And it was never the same band since, dropping guitarist and bassist since. To me its easy to understand why Royal Hunt was not more famous.

@08Revelator DC IS NOT FAMOUS. Where is his solo cd? This band keeps surviving and standing the test of time. At ProgPowerUSA a year ago, the place went crazy over Royal Hunt. It was coprporate music gods that kept this band out of the news, AND Dream Theater, new ASIA & JOURNEY releases etc. As Tarja found out, great bands are more than any single person.Even if it is a beloved and talented lead singer like Tarja and DC. Mark Boals is ok. Its still ROYAL HUNT. I still support THE BAND.

This is an awesome band that has withstood the test of time for sure. Even with lead singer changes, they keep plugging on. Two years ago they came to ProgPowerUSA with the "new" guy. You know, it didnt matter. They were a totally awesome show. A great veteran band like this always puts on a great show. Whats sad is when fans get caught up in splitting hairs about them and stop actually SUPPORTING them. My TOTALLY MUSIC/ARTIST CHANNEL is a result of this need to SUPPORT. Check it out! Its cool!

This is an veteran band that I only heard in the US 2 years ago at ProgPowerUSA. Another corrupt record industry screw up. When will they learn that TALENTED BANDS LIKE THIS will sell. I hate the bubble gum crap they throw at us here in the states. Thats why I STARTED A YOUTUBE MUSIC CHANNEL, thats TOTALLY MUSIC, with playlists in many rock/metal genres, OLD & NEW so all generations can explore, learn, and enjoy. You guys, check it out.

DC Cooper is by far the best singer Royal Hunt is not the same without him. Anyone who doesn't like him should not like Royal Hunt necause all of their best songs are with Cooper on vocals.
