the army in Turkey is afraid that they will lose power over the country if they let these "democratic" people run around and talk about the need for more civilized society. The army itself believes that the religious extremists in turkey will bring more support to their cause, so what i am saying is that the army is not against religions. In fact they are the army is strategically placing religious army approved leaders in the government. I know this because i am Turkish
