At 1st I thought the movie was gonna be awesome but then after i watched it I tried to get my money back at the front counter. I would rate 1/10 for this movie it doesn't have a story line. Plus goku suppose to be Asian but he is fuckin white! They should just find a kid who knows kung fu instead of finding a random person! Also Roshi is supposed to be bald! i watched the movie, it is nothing like the show, it does have some things correct.

1.) Roshi is still a perv

2.)they used Shenlong which is Shenrons japanese name

3.) Grandpa Gohan dies.

4.)they used the dragon, but it wasnt as big, but looked badass.

5.) Bulma and Yamcha fall in love

6.) so do Chi Chi and Goku

7.) Gohan and Roshi are friends.

8.) Piccolo did want to take over earth

Yamcha was a Jap with Blonde hair... And he is portraited in this movie as a nice guy. But in the cartoon, Yamcha is a rogue, and he looks more like an Arab. And then we have Goku who isn't insane and jolly. No we get a fucking teenager, i mean when i saw the beginning. quote: "I just wanna be normal" i knew this movie was gonna suck.

Most of the rest of the movie would be fine to mess up if and only if they had gotten Goku down right. Throw out the rest of the budget, spend every living dollar on a solid Goku and you might have a movie. Goku is what made the show great, its what made DBZ great, its what made DBGT tolerable. Failure to do this essential character is worse than rape, and demands serious retaliation. Do NOT SIT BY IDLE, this is WRONG!! Goku is our friend is the guy is not Goku, not by a long shot.

What makes it worse is that Goku is REALLY not that hard of a character to translate to live action. All I can say is thank GOD they didn't do the Saiyan saga. If they do decide to do a sequel, they better think twice about the Saiyan saga. For a lot of us, that saga was one of the most epic, and most of even have some of the dialogue from THAT particular saga memorized. If they screwed that one up there would be hell to pay.
