a sniper's hip fire in cod4 is so inaccurate you can actually miss from point blank range quite easily.

step1. get acog its kooler and easier to quickscope when noscope fails

step2. steady aim of course.

step3 put a tiny bit of tape in the direct centre of ur screen( scope in and place it over scope thingo)

step.3 strife left/right a tiny bit as u shoot dunno why but it helps me :)

I like the ACOG because the scope comes up quicker,yea using the other scope im pretty sure you can shoot at a longer range,also if you play competitvely in a league you can only use the regular scope

thanks,yea it is harder you cant steady the scope with the ACOG,i like to use it because i play close quarter and the scope comes up quicker on the ACOG,i like using the bolt action single shot rifles,it's more of a challenge

yea you just have to get a feel for it, sometimes the bullet doesnt always go straight so their is some luck involved,maybe try shooting up against a wall and see where the bullet hits

wow man, how do you do this? i started using the acog m40 a week ago and i still dont know how to hip fire. it definitely has a steep learning curve, but im getting better. how do you know where the bullet is going to go when you hip fire? whenever i hip fire, it always goes to the edges of the cross fire indicator.
