  • What a crap :).

  • Hmm i prefer the Russian saber fencing methods, but cool video. :)

  • So this is sabre in the Hungarian method? Only one cut aimed at the head was represented in the chart at the beginning. The footwork is at very interesting angles as well. It's always surprising to see the many different methods, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Hutton, ECT, that can be applied to this classic blade.

  • @kit40 Thank you for watching.

Actually, the base is hungarian sabre technique mixed with Ukrainian martial Art Boyovyi Hopak. Most of our guys train in it. So, this is why footwork may lok little different from classical. No known Polish or Russian influences in this demonstration.

  • NormalUkrainian used to have a video up showing very basic cutting, etc. If you asked him real nice, I'm sure he'd put it back up. Meanwhile, I don't have anything else share with you, but wouldn't mind it in the future.

  • Thanks for upload , interesting indeed! Is that by any chance Mr. Russ Mitchell the "Hungarian-sabre" guy from SFi?

  • @007samik : Yep, that's me.

  • Now, this is interesting stuff. How about a full length video?
