  • Look and you can see the great James Jamerson on bass right behind Diana. He was the heartbeat of the Motown Sound.

  • LOVE THIS SONG

  • it don"t get better !!

  • The dislikers need to come see about me so I can put my boot in their ass.

  • A #1 hit for The Supremes in December 1964/January 1965. It sandwiched The Beatles' I Feel Fine. The Supremes and The Beatles were the breakout stars of the 1960's IMO.

  • An era when being a Lady was cool!

  • This is from back in the day which is an era I should've grown up in..I missed out living through the best music ever created. Soulful talent..is greatly missed in music these days!

  • @MRSsunnydays1

Loved your comment.. I grew up listening to Motown.. I miss it so much!

  • great song but this cut sounds way too fast....

  • It is funny to think you actually needed to be good in order to be a famous singer. Today people just auto tune everything...

  • its soo AMERICAN!

    (which means adorable)

  • What would this song have been without the Funk Brothers (the band). Probably not even close to what it is/was. Thank you James Jamerson and co.

  • oh to be a fly on the walls of motown. i'd have loved to be at these recording sessions :D i was soooooooo born in the wrong time

  • Love love love the Supremes, I was definitely born in the wrong decade. :(

  • My fav Supreme song!

  • Great song!!

  • the sound sync is all over the place.

  • superb, trannie in Engalnd, illegal radio Luxemborg. Nothing better!

  • I remember being in Junior High School in New York City when the Supremes came out with Come See About Me. All we had was transistor radios. Suddenly the girls were on Newsweek and we were overwhelmed with something new, huge and so exciting. Soon they were to become a big player in the UK. A Diana Ross comes around once in an epoch.

  • shame bout the ugly sister in the middle take a look fans the real ross before the surgery was done. ahhh .how lovely cindy and mary are .

  • It's amazing that Barry Gordy, Diana Ross & Mary Wilson are still alive. Barry is now in his 80's. I remember seeing Diana on The Martha Stewart Show and Martha asked her if she had seen the movie,"Dreamgirls" and Diana replied,"Perhaps I should see it with my lawyer."

  • i love the Dianna Ross head wobble!

  • Why is it playing soooo fast???

  • From the classic scene from the not so classic Beverly Hills Cop 3.

  • and to think kids these days think rappers have swagger...

  • this is what you call music!!!!

  • MY FAVORITE SUPREMES SONG

  • 60 peoplee aint got no taste :)

  • this music endures baby

  • From which CD or compilation does this version of come see about me come from?

    Thanks for any help.

  • Mary was a baby doll!!!!!!!!!

  • @hotrodtrucker88 still is

  • Everybody keeps saying they wish music was like this now, but think about it; in 20-30 years time, the next generation are gonna say they wished music was like ours. Each decade brings a new culture; even Twiggy of the 60s in one of her old interviews said there was no good musicians at that time. So get over it!

  • Love your voice Diana. You are beautiful!!!!!!!

  • This is real music!!!

  • When did you die Steve C? OMG you were so gorgeous, being a 6'5" tall, Jewish hunk in 1964-1965 when I saw you.. Best you never knew a colored boy had such a strong crush on your good looks.

    RIP STEVE C.

  • You pathetic younguns. You don't know what they did for us—every time they came out with a new song, it was like being escorted to another room in heaven. I was in the back seat of my friend Larry's Buick and "neckin" with my girlfriend, and we suckin' down Colt (the first year it was out) and the girls come on with this "Turn it up Larry" music. Every time the Supremes came on we'd holler "Turn It Up Larry". They sang for young lovers everywhere. Mary was a byootay. Sorry yall couldnt be thay.

  • THIS IS MY SHIT NIGGA !!! AND I'M WHITE :)

  • an absolute treasure. with the net good stuff old or new will be viewed by future generations.

  • No "Nellie David", Diana took this Tune Over the Top to Number 1, She sings Fine, You're just Confused, because Miss Mary is a Baritone & Mattress Pad

  • diana is awfull she sings to high it doesnt suit the song .spoilt again and god is she ugly this is way before all the surgery shes had shje still is a minger in every way u cant make a silk purse out o a sows ear.

  • When all of the connections are made in art, in music -

in writing, acting - it's overwhelming to the human spirit.

To reach a place of this confluence in simple words, rhymes, three

trained and beautiful singers, and perfect accompaniment:

Two minutes twenty-four seconds of magic.

    When does it happen?

  • Great pop song. Love that Mary.

  • Some of you people say some of the most ugly and hurtful things. Things that you really should keep to yourself. Go read Proverbs 18:21 and Matthew 12:36-37 and learn to discipline your tongue.

  • complete with the funk brothers doing backing and the unmistakeable pistol pete on drums

  • Diana wasn't much to look at but she sure could sing!

  • sing it darlins!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This reminds me of when I was in elementary school watching the Ed Sullivan Show!

    This is VERY nostalgic!

  • Mary by far was the best looking....But you know Diana was in bad with gordy, is why they pushed her so hard

  • Mary is so pretty!

  • unseen, i feel in love with diana ross via a transistor radio

  • I am 18, listen to mostly heavy metal music......But i am pretty damn impressed by this artist........

  • @xxjohnnyxx89 Dude, that's cool. I'm 48, grew up in Detroit, listened to, and still listen to Heavy Metal, but love this as well.Love a couple of other styles and eras of music. Means you have a diverse taste, and that is good. The way you can tell if music, or art is good......is look at it, or listen to it. If you like it. That's good. Peace my man

  • Stacy Francis look a like? lol

  • These are the REAL Supremes- Not those crooked monkeys wearing those spooky black roads- The male members wear lace panties under there-no shit!

  • @jusdoggin2003 This is art, this is something to be proud about. However, Soulja boy, lil john, and Kanye West, just to name a few, are not something to be proud about.

  • @Saphykitten kanye west is awesome lol. can't SOME modern music and music from the 50's BOTH be good?

  • Magic soul music of the 60's.

  • to all my black people be proud we created sumthin out of nothing be proud

  • Mary is beautiful but Diana looks anorexic in this vid.

  • Mary looks like my momma!!

  • Great stuff!

  • Lovely Music, these girls are cute.

  • Don't all three Brewster Projects' girls look fresh and fabulous here. My absolute favourite Supremes track.

  • After Jean Terrell Left in 1973, The Three Degrees & Patti LaBelle Laid "The Supremes" to Rest, Stick a Fork in them, They were Done!

  • The BEST "girl group" every. They simply blow the doors off anyone else. I don't even know anyone close. Maybe the Three Degrees ... maybe not. These chicks are the serious sh##.

  • I'm 15 and I can honestly say that I want to be Diana Ross, no joke

  • @ImaniRoseHenderson So do Most Gay Men Over 50, You have Plenty of Company Dear!

  • Diana is Queen!! no arguments!

  • 59 dislikes..you clowns..head down the road

  • Excellent

  • 1960s Pop Music and Motown Soul was optimistic, about LOVE and made you feel good, uplifting the human spirit... and you could dance to it. Today's music is CREEPY, evil, a satanic cacophony of violent clashing and sinister lyrics all about HATE, sexual perversions, body parts and body fluids that degrades the human spirit into self-destruction and mental depression.

  • she has such an I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E voice !!! <3

  • I'M 21 , But I love these kinda songs than listening to the new 2011 SHIT

  • Silly TWTR4EVER, LOL!!!!, Easy doesn't mean Pretty, Diana was at risk of contracting Herpes everytime "She stood next to Mary Wilson!"

  • i was born in 67 and grew up through 80s 90s and now 21 century and when i hear this music i can say i dont feel depressed or angry.

  • Miss Mary Beautiful? I suppose, if you're serving 20 to Life, Diana's Hat is Far More attractive on it's own

  • Beverly Hills Cop 3! :D 'Pay Him'

  • This is the best song im ever heard

  • @Jonthe300 im agree

  • Sometimes I think I was born in wrong decade...I love this kind of song

  • Mary was sexy and still is today.

  • @foxgirl100 Going back in time, I assure you Diane Ross never was considered pretty when she stood next to Mary Wilson!

  • @foxgirl100 yeah....but Mary Can't hold a Candle to Diana's Voice.

  • God I thank you for these memories, we got through the hard times with music like this everyday!

  • These lovely girls were one of the first popular music groups to send chills up my spine!

  • "Keeps me crying baby for you,

Keeps me sighing baby for you,

    So won't you hurry

    C'mon boy See About Me!!!!"

    (come see about me)

I dare you - DANCE DAMMIT!!!!

  • We are so lucky to be able to hear great songs like this from the past. Thank you so much for posing it. Today's music is not on the golden trail, it is for the garbage pail.

  • I love Mary shaking those hips and her facial expressions, especially her mouth.

  • @49CWong Mary was fine for sure, but Flo Forever!!!!!

  • my girlfriend back in the early 70s always used to play this song brings back so many great memories from that great time

  • This is the first time I've favorited the Supremes - I have over 500 favorites - what was I thinking?

  • Back when women were women !

  • @richieroller67 back when men were men!

  • is that the funk bros back there? i think it is

  • @meauxami43 wow it is jamerson back there

  • These were the best days, trust me.

  • I just texted a girl "come see about me" and she didn't get it. Maybe I don't want her to come see about me after all.

  • when was this recorded? her facial expressions look the same as today.

  • Simply..... AWESOME

  • Beautiful Song! Classic : )

  • Beautiful Amazing Song!!!! ♡

  • And Miss Mary got too Much Credit

  • Florence Ballard never got enough credit...

  • I like how you put the good sounding music with the old video. When this was broudcast it sounded low quality.. Thanks!!

  • who can't like this, great song, great tune, fab group..long live motown

  • beverly hills cop 3

  • Like if you remember this song being sung on Sister Sister.:)

  • @lilrere14 thats exactly how i remember this song

  • i only heard this song properly within the last 2 years and its one of my favourite songs of all time

love the way she delivers the line.."sometimes i'm down"

    class

  • I still love Mary Wilson. Sigh.

  • my favourite supremes song, i wasn't even around in the sixties but this still takes me back there!

  • Came across this by accident. Nice song!

  • voices like a chior of angels

  • Can I get an "AMEN" on Rarrin9378's comment. "Supremes" rule. The new music today makes me want to eject semi digested food from my stomache. This is a classic. It was recorded over 43 years ago, and it's still is Motown Hot as ever! Thats a fact. You can't dispute facts.

  • @NappyHeadedHoe23 Amen !! and I agree !! especially many lady singers of today,s music rely on skimpy clothes , speciall effects etc to make there music. I like some female singers like the 80,s group called the Motels but it must be remebred that the Supremes paved the way. Just a opinion; I could be wrong about that...what do you think ?

  • @NappyHeadedHoe23 Yeah, not like they were churning out tons of forgettable crap in the 60s as well or anything...

  • This song brings back so many great memories of being a teenager in the 60s ......... : 0

  • i made it 2569 likes! ;)

  • This song is in Beverly Hills Cop 3, the only good thing about that movie.

  • those 55 people must come and see me please.

  • Memeories of good songs & wonderful talent. This was one of the best girl groups to ever grace the music industry ever! I thank God I got to enjoy the old school classic music & musical genouses. I was young but it didn't matter none the less.

  • REAL NICE "VIDEO"! TOM D. BRICK,NJ. {AT THE SHORE}.

  • hhaha I found this by watching Beverly Hills Cop 3 :D

  • who's the pretender ? you or your so called friends.

    get the fuck over it.

  • @KOAFENDAZ Well you were the one that replied to my comment :3

  • It's the hat!

  • Dianna turns me on for some weird reason

  • @robertirez If it carries on when she has died then she will have become a "Stone cold stunner"............

  • @GBPaddling hahaha i like that!

  • i remember this the first time, when the british top 20 usually featured at least 6 motown tracks.

  • What happened to the wonderfull black music of the sixties ????

  • One more thing, i think this video really epitomises there young optimism. As far as we can see, they're just three girls singing and having fun. No rivalry, no bitching, no lies, no scandal. No death.

*sigh* If only it stayed that way.

  • When my friends ask me "Why do you listen to 60's music. It's soo boring"

I will make them watch this video.

  • @RedRoosterRoad your freinds sound like soulless fuck heads.

  • @KOAFENDAZ Well i didn't phrase my comment right. I meant to say, the people i pretended to be friends with to get though school.

My real friends like this music.

  • @joemusictube Not to forget Florence and Mary!

  • absolute classic

  • @54 freaks ....all matter what you do or say... We're gonna love this song anyway!

  • this is timeless..don't believe? hit Reno and Hot August Nights and see what the most requested artists are...AT THE SOCK HOP .............SUUUUPREMES # 1. tHIS WAS AN ERA WHEN MUSIC HAD A MELODY, THE ARTISTS LOOKED HAPPY, DID'NT CUSS AND THE TUNES HAD A BEAT YOU COULD DANCE TO. aND THE MEN SINGERS WORE THEIR PANTS ABOVE THE CRACK.

  • I envy my mother being born in 1946 and getting to live during these great times. It'll never be like that again.

  • We played the grooves off this 45 back then. The arm on the record player was always set on repeat!

  • Thats real talant

  • such a beautiful record

  • 54 ppl are not wrapped right.

  • TOTALMENTE CLASSICO !

  • Hey those 53 people are just jealous, and really...we know who they are, we don't even have to think about it. It's the same old story right. The music speaks for itself then as well as NOW, it's undisputed, that's why there's been millions of happy listeners.

  • is it live?

  • all i need to be now is a mechanic in Detroit... :]

  • There's no other way to describe this other than fabulous.

  • To all you pro wrestling fans out there (like myself): This was the #1 song in the USA when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin came into the world (December 18, 1964).

  • There was something about Diana Ross's voice that could soother even the most perturbed mind! Like mine!!

  • 1:16 scary eyes and a missing word.
