I finally beat this game a couple days ago; the last time I did it was around '88. Watched all 9 vids in this series and discovered a couple of new places to find gold and saved about 400 gold buying the armor in the order you did.

Even after all these years, I found out new things about the game and broke my all-time score because I watched your videos. Thanks!

Man that was nostalgic. Me and a friend would play this for hours on end back in the day hehe.

Eventually we got so good at it that we'd play straight through it in about 50 minutes. Missing a single coin purse and not getting 60+ gold on each and every one meant the other guy would score higher lol. We usually landed somewhere just over 3 million points and the difference between us would a few measly points at most. Good fun. =)

it shows what you know. This is a high score game dummy. If you kill the enemy more than 2 times, you get no points and the enemy comes back twice as tuff. Also there is a time limit so it would not be possible to kill things that many times over as you would die. Know your facts

whats that good for in this particular game??? this isnt a high score game.. if you wanted highscore he would have just killed the same monster 4 times or more instead of only 1 and would have made a few million points ... its too easy to get points in wonder boy
