@ediandpen The 777-300 is available with the GE90, but not the -115B variant. Only the 777-300ER has GE90-115B powerplants. Thai Airways uses Rolls Royce engines on their 777-300's, I believe.
@MikeGinnyMD that is right for their -300's. Thai however have a few leased examples of the -300ER which as you correctly mentioned have -115B engines
@mike40842 Who are you calling a dunce? Remarkable, coming from a guy who can't even type correctly, much less realize that he knew they were Rolls Royce Trent 800's......
Thai's B773 have room for 388 PAX. Heavy when full.
I heard through the grapevine while in Thailand that the powers to be are considering refurbishing Don Muang. In the next few years certain airlines might be back at Don Muang on a permanent basis.
Hello all, the aircraft was full out of Chiang Mai heading for Bangkok. Business was completely full, had a miserable idiot sitting next to me talking bullshit. Ce la vie!!!
you should've traded seats with him and told him to stare at the RR engine cone for 2 minutes. And then you would've hypnotized him and had complete control for the rest of the flight.
Thats what I love about the Trent engine! and the beastly 777!
I would have to agree. maybe they are doing several short hops that day and instead of filling up every time they just use what is left from one flight to another?
that seat always freak me out..if u get sucked out u go straight in2 the engine innit?

Suvurnabhumi is lacking the infrastructure of public transport, whereas Don Muang is only 15 minutes from Bangkok with good connections everywhere

@AirCanadaA55555A I love the GE90s as well, but nothing compares to the sounds of the Trents.

@unclecoolie Ok, I Like The GE90 Sound A Tad Bit More But I Am Ok With Trent, There Grinding Sounds Are Wicked.
