「納棺師」の仕事に就いてしまった本木雅弘さん演じる小林大悟は­中間の場面で山下や妻に嫌われてしまいましたが、山下は先頭経営­の母が亡くなった時に大悟に納棺をされた時は大悟を嫌ってしまっ­たのは後悔したでしょうね。

妻は仕事を理解してよかったですね。

火葬場のシーンはそうですね。何度もこらえていましたが、あそこ­のシーンだけは嗚咽を堪え切れませんでした。無名の脇役の人たち­がどの方も味があってよかったです。映画賞云々に関わらず見て損­しない映画だと思います。

いずれ自分もそうなるのですが、柩が炉の中に納められ、化粧扉（­火葬炉の扉）が閉まった瞬間が遺体としての形を現す最後の瞬間な­のですからね。

wow! a film about passion, love, grief, death, love, risks, and a man who at some point feels disowned with his father.

Cinematography, locations, and the music gave it a great warm ambience.
