I am a huge fan of Leone's and Corbucci's Spaghetti Westerns, as well as a big fan of Quentin Tarrantino, and I gotta say, I didn't like Inglorious Basterds. But Il Mercenario is one of the best western themed movies I've ever seen.

The mercenary is a great Spaghetti western, the plot develops at the beginning of the mexican revolution, like many other late westerns: "Army of five" and "the wild Bunch", and as a usual spaghetti western, we have no real good guys, they are antiheroes, like the man with no name of the Lone saga.

so these is in fact a great western
