  • beautifull!

  • terrific.....

  • LEAVE THE KID ALONE - HES GOOD I don't care if he's playing by ear, sight-reading or faking it .... he's practising... I can't believe what people will argue about... no wonder the state the world is in... its sounds good is all I know.. and I wish I would have been this good as a kid

  • Sight reading is not playing while looking at the music, it is playing something for the first time.

  • Muy buena interpretacion, magnifico!!!!!! Desde Malaga Spain una cordial felicitación

    Luisma

  • You need to have far more articulation in such a live building

  • 私が嘘をついていたんじゃなく創価がプロパガンダしていたんだよ!!。多分アメリカ政府もプロパガンダに協力していたかもしれない…。

  • @pianorgano

If you have played it through several times before, it is not sight reading anymore. Except maybe when that was several years ago and you lost memory of the notes, fingerings etc.

If playing with a score always is sightreading, like you say, I've never done anything else in my life. I've played harpsichord for over 15 years now and I NEVER play anything by heart. But I do know the score, I know the music, the melody, the harmony, the fingerings. It is not sight reading.

  • @fluffytom82

PS great job though! :) whether it's sight reading or not

  • @fluffytom82

Apologies to all regarding the past "sight reading" mistake in the description. My father used to handle my account; he used to consider "sight reading" as playing the piece with the sheet music after having gone through a long period of time not having practiced the piece, i.e., not being familiar with the piece anymore. It is now 4 years later, but having stumbled across this video again, I thought it best to clear up my mistake. Sorry for the confusion...!!

  • @pianorgano No worries! Like I said: great job anyway, if it was sight reading or not ;)

  • Shaky not sure have I commented here before but no need to look at your feet and I think many people mean sight reading here because you don't know the piece well enough to truly perform it!

  • Very nice playing! I really enjoyed it.

I just thought I'd let you know: some of the critical comments seem to focus on the phrase "sight reading." The definition of sight reading is "...the reading and performing of a piece of written music, specifically when the performer has not seen it before." Since you have memorized portions of the piece, it's clearly not your first time seeing the music, and that's where the confusion might come from. It might be helpful to edit your description.

  • What's the interest of showing sightreading, which really isn't?

  • Fabulous work! Very well played ....thank you for posting and please keep playing!

  • lovely playing! keep up the great practicing! I only had the chance to play the organ a handful of times, not the easiest instrument to play.

  • OOOOPPS!?

What a suprise?! Congrat, and Thank You very much. :)

  • And that was sight reeding???!!!! WOW, really you're amazing!!

  • I adore Handeeeel!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I really must thank you for your playing. Well done. To play a complex arrangement at such an early age is quite an achievement.

For those rude enough to just criticise, I would be more than interested to receive details of your postings to compare your ability.

  • Who makes this organ? beautiful sound, and playing!!! My former 6th grade teeacher plays on one that looks almost identical (Reuter).

  • This is very good! Thumbs up, and Kudos to ya!

I love Baroque music and this is excellent sight reading! Will be transcribing this piece on guitar. :D

  • I like the playing you did and I like it you share it with all the people on internet. Continue with playing and having fun on the organ!

  • Young man, ignore the ignorant!

  • hey you are so good !! 5 stars.

  • organ is better than piano..... and i am pianist :)

  • Bravo young man - BRAVO!! Don't let the naysayers get to you. To hell with them! I was a child prodigy at the age of two - on the piano; the BEST instrument to begin your journey to the organ. Keep it up, you're on your way.

  • talented kid but his playing looks self taught. very pianistic hand position and fingering style. bench too low.

  • yeah, but I think he's too short to reach the pedals too

  • Wow another Genius budding - amazing what GOD can do with us. THANKS for sharing Keep up the great work. GOD Bless you.

  • it's not a piano, it's THE KING OF INSTRUMENTS

check out some of my vids.

  • you idiot, it's not a piano, it's an organ.

  • this is obviously not sight reading - its how your posture

is that gives it away - making excuses won't work....

nevertheless, quite a good effort - footwork needs a little

work nevertheless quite good - keep it up

  • What a wonderful young organist you are! I'm quite impressed! I hope one day to hear you in concert!

  • This is sight reading!? Well if it truly is, which I hope it is, you are a gifted lad indeed...

  • Very Impressive! Keep up the good work.

  • Bravo! Bravo! Viva! pianorgano macaroni!mua!

  • Wow! What a talented young man!!!! Well done!

  • THIS IS NOT SIGHT-READING!!!!!!

  • Certainly is!! I can do the same level of sight-reading on the piano.

  • Este concierto está excelente!!! Este niño es una eminencia, esperemos siga fomentando los conciertos con órgano, ya sea de Bach, mozart etc...

    Felicitaciones.

  • If he's sight reading, how come he barely looks at the music?

    Not criticizing, i'm very impressed!

  • Ha Ha Ha...

    perhaps Doctor Robert Moog,

    or Isao Tomita...

    :)

  • Oh PrussianGlory,

If you knew French you wouldn't say you agree, because you disagreed with the statement you're responding to. Need a translation?

    stephzech said in effect:

"Not bad on the interpretation...... what's more you're playing an electronic organ!"

  • Why are you playing pedal? there is no pedal in an Handel Organ concerto.

  • Handel Organ Concertos are also not played by organ alone. He's using the pedals for the parts normally not played by organ. This is a transcription.

  • As an organist who's been "organing' for 50 years, I must say i'm suitably impressed by your performance. Keep up the good work. it will be great to see you perform in about 20 years!

  • This boy is so fantastic! I can't up to his standard!!!!!!!! As an organist for a year in Wesley church and have not attended any organ classes, I will get scared if he is playing it in my church.

  • When I was a boy, I played barroque music at my piano! Actually I prefer my Harpsichord, that is better suited for this kind of music. THERE´S IS NO CRIME in playing this music at Eletronic Organs, Pianos, or Synthesizers! I only suggest, that you have to learn barroque phrasing and articulation! Since you are a boy too, I think your playing is a TRIBUTE and HONOUR to the memory of the German Master, G.F.Haendel. Go ahead, and study barroque performance! Congratulations!

  • I forgot who said this but "The synthesizer is no more inhuman than the piano"

  • Don't worry about what some of these people think. I am sure most of them are talented organists, but I can bet dollars to doughnuts that very few of them showed your talent or skill at such an early age. You must have been under 10 at the time of this taping. I'd have given almost anything to have the ability you had at the same stage of my life. I played for church by age 12, but I was not playing the literature that you were. Please don't think about anything else but a future in music!

  • Umm how do you learn how to play the organ?

  • pas terrible l'interprétation.....en + on dirait un orgue électronique!

  • It might not have been sight reading, still nicely played..I have this on flute!

  • Well, sight reading sure is a lie. You barely looked at your music!

  • what he means is that he was sightreading after not having played the piece for a long while. no need to be rude about it. sightread or not, still excellent.

  • @HeinzNetwork To be honest lets not get picky about whether it was sight reading or not. The fact is that it was played pretty well and excptional for such a young age

  • Keep at it my friend. We need organists in the world it's a dying art but with you there is hope!!! Wonderful, enjoyed the video. Keep them coming.

  • I am hawfully disppointed by epennin's comment : even you are not lenient, be rude , as we say in frenche, make not you a noble man...

  • You must admit though, pianorgano, that to most people's understanding, "sight reading" means usually the first or second time of playing and reading the score... It isn't usual for people "sight reading" a piece certainly for the first time, to be able to play passages without looking at the score?!

Certainly you were practising and perhaps at an early stage of learning the piece?!

I should love to hear the piece played by you again now though?

  • Get off his fucking nuts! Lets see you play something like that dick!

  • I am hawfully disappointed about such reactions : be rude, sorry for my poor english, as we say in french "make not you a noble man"

  • Played well (but I wouldn't define this as sight reading) Thanks for posting it

  • Well said! Thanks for posting, you're fab! x

  • you werent sight reading, liar!

  • play too low bring it up more I can not hear it.

  • awsome

  • Keep practicing! Nice spirit in the music. It is curious, however, that you spend a lot of time not looking at the music. Not an ordinary way to sight-read...

  • agility in music is true gift from God, always use it for His glory and you will know true success. keep up the good work..thanks for posting.

  • Awesome great performance :-)

  • i played this exact same song on the flute, the whole sonata was called sonata no. 4 in F major. this was the "gigue" movement of it in my version... just for clarification, is it orgonally for organ?

  • Well if you have ever played a real organ, the keys are a bit harder to push down. He makes it look like it's nothing, with the slightest push of a finger. Genius my friend. I will remember your name.

  • Delightful! Much success to you...thanks for posting your early efforts...and your later ones!

  • heh... is that a real pipe or digital pipe organ?

  • Comment removed

  • Fantastic! You could be Felix Hell's little brother!

  • please, correct video description : the concerto is handel's n°5 op.4.

    You are still a genius...

  • Just a question, if you were indeed sight-reading, how could you read the music and look at your feet for more than 5 seconds? Great job!

  • Well, it was not totally shabby, you must admit!

  • You are indeed talented, and obviously put a great deal of work into your art.
