A shaving cream or soap is always better than goo from a can.

just gunna say got nivea for men sensitive shave gel it is the best it's alchol and dye free and has chamomile and vitamin E and works into a thick foam i got it 4 3 bucks

Taylor of Old Bond Street, Proraso (C.O. Bigelow), Truefitt & Hill...there are a bunch. Just check out most any site that has good wet shaving stuff.

I use a straight razor, and there's no way in hell I'd use anything out of a can.
